Complaint Review: Kirby Home Care Products

On November 4th I made a huge mistake. I let the Kirby man in my house! I had no intention of buying one and told him so, but that I wanted to gather information about it.

After an hour with a very nice young kid there was a knock on the door and he walked out and this woman who I would descibe as a "bulldog" came in to close the deal.
After telling her "no" many times she left and came back a minute later with a deal! Her boss said that they could sell me one for $899 with $38 a month in payments. After telling her "no" again she said this to me "Would $38 a month really put you being a greeter at Wal-mart?". Well I am a stay at home mom with a tight budget and yes it could if something horrible was to happen.

Then she picks up my eight month old son and he starts to cry and her response to that was this "see he doesn't want to crawl around in this mess."

At this point I told her to get out of my house. She continues to fast talk and say that if my husband and I were to refinance our home that we would actually save money if we had a Kirby because the loan company likes to know that you have the right equipment to take care of your home!

I tell her again to get out of my house and she does this time. The nice guy comes back in and I tell him what happened and he seeems shocked ( of course he does).
About a half hour after the kirby people leave I get a call from one of my neighbors saying that they came to her house saying that I had sent them!But by this time had forgotten my name and said that Heather told them to come. I am usually pretty nice to people who come to my door but not anymore!
