Complaint Review: Kirby

My husband and I are fairly young, he had just joined the Army in 2005 and we are now stationed in Hawaii. Being that we are still very young, we are starting out fresh. We came here with nothing, not even a car - just our suitcases. Furniture needs to be bought, our cellphones are a must [in order to keep in contact with family], and our car loan / insurance is crazy.

The first week we moved into our house on post, Kirby representatives were knocking on our doors (although they aren't even allowed to be soliciting).

Of course we fell for every word they said and every demonstration they put on. My husband, being the guy that he is, was extremely interested in the fact that the representative mentioned it can "spray paint" and "wax" a car. That did it, we HAD to get it.

We are now locked into their 'million dollar' contract, or so it seems. Paying $66 a month for 3 years aka "the rest of our lives."

The vaccum is/has:
1) heavy
2) loud
3) works like any other $70-$80 vaccum
4) many parts [attachables]
5) EXPENSIVE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It's just so overwhelming that we will be paying $$$$ for a vaccum. And of course, if one bank doesn't qualify you, they WILL go through EVERY bank in the world before they give up.

Please anybody, is there any way to get rid of this? Is there any way to get out of this contract? There has to be a way.

This whole experience has been a nightmare. HELP US SOMEONE!
