Complaint Review: Kirby

Kirby reps can rip you blind if you are not careful. The machine its self works fine, and the head office like to think they are reputable, but the fact is that around 50% of reps try to rip you off. Things that are not true: 1. Lifetime warranty - its 3 years for parts, 90 days for labour. 2. You get free services (even if you have a letter, its still hard) 3. Products are cheap - there quite expensive and 4. Outlets for bags etc. are few and far between.

If you are looking to buy are Kiby, US$1200 would be around the highest you want to pay, and make sure you get ALL your paper work, if they won't give it to you, cancel the sale and call the police. With finance, make sure you know the name of the finance company, and the distibutor, that way if you can't get hold of them your self, then you can report them.

Hopefully if everyone who sees a Kirby demo has some common sense then we can get rid of all the dodgy sales companies, and have cleaner and fairer door - to - door sales practises.

PS: I am from Australia, and the laws here make it almost impossible to get ripped off. IF you are the people who wrote the stories about Kirby and been ripped off, you either don't know the law, OR the USA has f*%#ed fair trading laws!!!
