HOWELL TOWNSHIP, N.J. -- It took almost two years of persistence, but a
New Jersey state association representing plumbers in Monmouth and Ocean counties has finally brought an unlicensed handyman to justice.
Kirk Tilton, formerly of
Point Pleasant Beach,
Eatontown and Wall Township, has pleaded guilty in Howell Township Municipal Court to two counts of advertising and performing plumbing services without a state license. Judge Russell G. Cheek fined Tilton $700 plus
court costs and placed him on six month probation. Kirk also paid back thousands in restitution."
Kirk Tilton later reopened in PA under aggressive plumbing again changing his name now to Kirk Bontempo.
J.P.McGowen assistant Attorney General in the Poconos has fined his business also because of complaints for ripping people off and writing bad checks, only for Kirk to pay more restitution.

Attorney Generals site does not have all his prior crimes listed I thought they were supposed to be listed?? Like his business in

My comment to the above is why is this not considered breaking and entering, being on private property without permission? Court of Common Pleas. Kirk in one of the dockets was wanted and became a fugitive on the run. The amazing thing is that the court had his address wrong for some events he was wanted for and had his mailing address instead of his physical address.
Kirk also has two
restraining orders against him from two other women he used to know they are Tina Manganiello and Tanya McLaughlin.This information is from the court system and the Monroe Legal Reporter. Tina is the tattoo on Kirks arm in his description on the megan web site.
Kirk also was in the Monroe legal reporter for owing the government $43,000 thousand dollars in back taxes this was in the Monroe Legal Reporter also dated 12-7-07.
Kirk has also harassed many innocent people.
This seems to be consistent with the way Kirk has beaten every charge against him. It makes you wonder if someone is protecting Kirk Bontempo?

Most of Kirks information on the Megan law website was missing like his real address and his vehicle information, fortunately someone corrected this.
This brings me full circle to why I am writing this, shouldn't this information be on the Attorney General's website for registered contractors concerning his prior criminal history and being a sex offender?? Also are convicted sex offenders allowed to have a web site posing with children, even having access to the internet? Another point which seems to be a very big problem now for the Pocono's and surrounding private communities are gangs and criminals seeking refuge in private communities pretending to be normal, selling drugs doing crime in plain sight. But if you call the police they will tell you there's not much we can do you live in a private community. It would seem that the police would not want to infringe on a criminal's rights over an honest citizens rights.
