FOUND THESE NEGATIVE REVIEWS ONLINE. THIS PLACE IS A SCAM WATCH OUT
Hi, so i answered a craigslist posting for a receptionist opening in Tacoma, Wa. I immediately set up a interview for the next day, which was a Tuesday. While in the interview I asked what the job required. Being 20 years old, I am very versed in businesses tricking people into sales and my interviewer promptly said there were no sales involved. The open positions were for managers or receptionists and i qualified for both. Also, that the training would be about 6 weeks and we would we compensated. Well that next friday was the 2nd interview were i was told for the second time that we would not be tricked into sales!. That following monday was orientation and tuesday was the 1st day of training|.
During those days i asked employees/ trainers how exactly we would be compensated for training and each time i was told that it depended on participation and attendance, but was never given a clear answer:. Wednesday, 2nd day of training, I was finally told at the end of the training day that our compensation depended on our sales and that we were to sale 20 bottles each time we moved up in training, until you open your own branch and hire sales reps yourself.. You are promised 40k and a branch with a partner of your choice?. I was tricked and wasted my time:. If you do not want to do sales, do not apply for any position in this company'. They seem like a good company but the truth is, to get anywhere in that business, you have to sale their product, which are knock offs of well known perfumes|. You are warned
This place fake hires people as a "training" effort. They say they will train you to be an Office Assistant to manage your own branch of Kismet but as part of their training they want you to sell 80 bottles of Kismet fragrances.
Cheap knock-off brands of popular fragrances for $30 a bottle. Supposedly each branch has to sell 200 bottles a week as a quota and they are trying to expand to 35 branches in the Northwest, 125 branches nationwide and grow 300 after 2 years. They offer this position for $40k a year which is $80k split between you and a partner.
After selling 200 bottles a week, the first week you send money on business up-keep bills. It's a scam! They want innocent desperate people looking to make money to survive to spend their own money to start up a Kismet branch!

This Company Is A Joke

I work for a company called KISMET in 1206 S 11th St, Tacoma WA 98405. This job is very misleading and there are sales involved. The money they promise you can only be achieved once you learn how to mislead people just like they do. I guess naive people can call that an opportunity, but if you think you are the right person for the job by all means go for it. I don't know how they will provide medical, dental, and 401k for me; when this company seems so sketchy and there office is so dumpy. I'm only in the 2nd week of the training and they are asking me to sell to family, friends, associates, aquant., relatives, and roommates. The only money I make from training is if I sell enough fragrances. (Training lasts up to 8 weeks unpaid) I'm sure if you are a super sales person you can break off from the group after your training and start selling your life away, since the wholesale manufacturer provides the product for you and you don't have to pay them until you actually sell the product. All in all this job is technically an opportunity to the desperate and naive, but to mislead people to sell for them during the training period is just wrong. I don't think I will be the person to screw someones time just so I can make the money. But I pray for the people who go in thinking that you will just be leading a group of sales members when you are actually selling for 8 weeks without getting a stable pay.
P.S. I work for the state and they have know idea. I will make sure i get this place shut down. That way people that are looking for work to provide for there families will not waist any more of there needed time.

FOUND THIS
I was called in by this company named Kismet Wholesale in Tacoma and was told similar things like the woman was reading a script. After i got home i looked up Scam reports and wouldnt you know everything people have said was exactly what was said to me and the next day the lady even called and said if i show up for the first day of training im considered hired. What a joke!!! This is all a pyramid scam and its sad because real people are trying to find jobs in a bad economy and you have companies like this get peoples hopes up and misleading. The funny thing is they posted a ad on craigslist for a Receptionist and Manager position but when you go in for an interview they talk you into going for the manager position when all in all there was never a Receptionist position. PLEASE JOB SEARCHERS BEWARE
