We recently purchased matcha green tea from kiss me ORGANICS on Amazon. We decided to have the matcha green tea powder chemically tested and thank god we did. The tea contained unusually high levels of metals. Specifically the matcha tested positive for aluminum and mercury at levels beyond safe for human consumption. In addition the matcha tested positive for containing high levels of radiation UNSAFE product. BE CAREFUL

On behalf of Kiss Me Organics, we assure you this is 100% inaccurate. We harvest our matcha from a certified organic plantation and we lab test all our products for quality, heavy metals, and radiation. In fact, we’ve fully disclosed the results of our tests and you can see them here:

As you can see from the test results, everything is well below the safe and legal limits.
In addition, we’d like to point out that you cannot avoid exposure to aluminum because it is so common and widespread in the environment. Exposure to the levels of aluminum that are naturally present in food and water are not considered to be harmful.
Finally, you can see from our certified radiation testing here that there are undetectable levels of radiation in our matcha.
The health and safety of our customers is of utmost importance to us and we would never put that at risk. We suspect this unsubstantiated report comes from an unsavory competitor. We encourage you to provide a copy of the lab test results you claim to have for everyone to review.
