Kiss My Gas Scooters Misadvertising leads to stolen scooter Springfield Missouri
I was told before i bought this cufflock that nothing could cut the lock besides powertools. My scooter was stolen and the lock was clearly cut by something that isnt a power tool. I called them at 12:52pm on 05/06/16 and asked about the lock. I asked kiss my gas what can cut through their cufflocks that they sell. They specifically told me that nothing could cut through them besides power tools. I told them my lock was cut without power tools and you can clearly see it on the lock. I asked for a refund and kiss my gas told me no. I didnt say anything more and just hung up. Because of this misadvertisement of this model of lock. My scooter was stolen. My way back and forth to work is gone.

Police report was filed that day. You guys are lying and never said that "its really hard to cut through" i have recorded the telephone conversation when asked what could cut through a cufflock and the person on the phone specifically said only power tools can cut it. Its kind of hard to say 1 thing then another when its recorded. I had insurance but it was only liability as it was the cheapest.

Sorry to hear your scooter was stolen. I can understand your frustration with the loss of your property and wanting to blame someone for your misfortune. I do feel that your frustration is misdirected by blaming us for the loss. No lock is 100%. if it was it would be hanging in front of Fort Knox. Any lock can be cut given enough time. The only thing we said about ours is that it is difficult to cut manually. Obviously your thief was very well equipped and the only real protection you could have is insurance. As we have said many times, if you fall victim to a real pro, there is nothing anyone can do. You did carry insurance on this right? Anyways, I think your time would be spent better filing a police report and if you still feel it was the lock's fault your scooter was stolen you can always contact Master Lock and see if they will warranty it, being that they are the manufacturer on this lock. I'm simply the retailer.
