KitchenAid Doesn't Deliver Promised Assistance with Defective Product Doesn't Deliver Promised Assistance with Defective Product, Internet
Our oven door on our Kitchenaid oven has never worked right. It's gotten worse over time. We paid $50 for a repair call. The repairman said there is nothing they can do to fix it, because the hinge is no longer in stock. We contacted Kitchenaid. They not only wouldn't fix it or replace it, they had the nerve to offer us a small discount on a new oven, as if we'd even buy another Kitchenaid after that!
I posted a message on Kitchenaid's Facebook page warning consumers not to purchase Kitchenaid appliances. Kitchenaid responded asking me to e-mail them. I did. They keep claiming they didn't get the e-mails. By the time they got back with me days later, we had already bought a new oven. I made them an offer of sending us a toaster to make up for the $1,500 oven that had to be thrown out because of the door hinge. They refused! So, why even pretend they're going to do something when they're not?!
