I went online to find a cat after my cat had to be put to sleep. Since I am allergic to most cats I have to find a Cornish Rex. I found kittensforaddoption.us & emailed several different people. After receiving the same exact response, with the same pictures, from different people I cut off all communication with those people. Then I found a lady named Wendy who sounded totally genuine & after speaking with her extensively I paid to ship a kitten from Georgia to Arizona. I then got an email & phone call saying the shipping company, who I looked up online to make sure they existed, said they needed more money to rent a crate. By this time I was worried that they might be scamming me but I paid an additional $450.00 to rent a crate. They assured me that they would be giving me a refund check when the kitten was delivered, minus 10%. Then they wanted an additional $300.00 for a cites permit because the kitten was stuck in Texas. Supposedly the owner paid $200.00, I paid $100.00. All the $ was paid through Western Union & I have saved all my correspondence & receipts from both parties, the seller & shipper. Finally the delivery date arrives & I get an email, a full hour after my kitten was supposed to arrive, saying the delivery driver killed my kitten. Now they will refund me my money + 20%, if I pay them an additional $245.00. I would love to find an attorney to get my money back.

There was no Kitten - you got scammed by probably a Nigerian.  No Attorney will be able to prove anything so my advice is to stop buying online and seek a rescue group - there are alot out there.
