A scammer tried to get me to send $300 for shipping on an exotic short hair kitten. The person sent photos of several kittens that were not related, but only one was an exotic short hair cat. They emailed me from mari.d1884@gmail.com. They claimed to be Marilyn Duffner. The add was placed on kittensforadoption.us. The add was originating out of Oklahoma, but they then claimed they were from New York after I was willing to travel to Oklahoma to pick up the free adoptable kitten. I work in law enforcement and immediately knew this was a scam, but I baited them along for awhile to see what they would say. They would not answer simple questions. I researched Marilyn Duffner and she had passed away. They are using dead peoples names. Let me know if it looks like you are being contacted by the same fraudster.
