We hire Kiwi to clean our carpets. The cleaning was to take place the day before Super Bowl Sunday because we were having a big party and wanted the carpets clean for this event. The guy showed up late on the Saturday before and without the proper equipment to do the job. The salesperson had told me "that the best reason to choose Kiwi was there are NEVER any hidden charges, we never charge more than is quoted to you over the phone". When he started attempting to clean the carpet he realized that he didn't know what he was doing so we could hear him on his cell phone talking to someone that was telling him what to do.

After working on the carpet for about 45 minutes he said he would have to come back another time to work on the carpet because he didn't have the right machine to do berber carpet. We called Kiwi who sent out the guy that handles complaints. He agreed that the guy had ruined the carpet in the master bedroom and that he would give the information to his supervisor who would contact us to make arrangements to fix the carpet. He said that the machine that the technician used was not meant to be used without an attachment to cover the head of the machine. This left the rubber exposed which dug into the carpet and burned the exposed rubber into the carpet.

We have made repeated calls to Kiwi to have the matter resolved and no one will return any of our calls. We have sent e-mails to the customer service department asking for it to be forwarded to the President, Angela Eideh. This is totally unacceptable. They have ruined the carpet per their inspector but don't want to do anything about it or even return a call.

Mary, good cleaners are very hard to find in this industry. As long as I have been in Houston, I probably know less than ten. when you choose a deal to good to be true, you are asking for problems. Cheap carpet cleaning companies do not attract experienced cleaners like me. I'ts sad, but true. But in reality these types of companies have their place in the industry, because they can easley prey on inexpereinced customers. Then on the other hand they create alot of jobs for me, because I spend alot of time fixing damaged carpets. I don't advertise in the phone book, but maybe someday we'll cross pathes. because me, and berber have a thing in common. GOOD LUCK!
