Complaint Review: Klarna

Klarna I never completed a purchase and Klarna put a hold twice on the same items and once on an item from a different store

I attempted to make a purchase with Finishline in the amount of $410. Klarna put a hold on the funds and then said I didnt have enough purchase power to make that purchase.

I attempted to make another purchase from a different store for $250 and the same thing happened.

I contacted Klarna was advised the hold would drop in 24-48 hours, the call was esclated and I would get an email

The next day the email I got was about if my issues were resolved, and it was two charges from Finishlinenoted in my bank account which caused me to get an overdraft fee because of this.

When I called Klarna they would not esclate the second call and the representative said it would take seven thru ten business days for someone to follow up with me.(The first rep I had spoke with provided a 1-2 business day for a follow up)

It is not noted when you attempt to use Klarna how the process works. A customer will not know if they have purchasing power until after the hold has been placed on their funds which Klarna provided the amount.
