Complaint Review: Klassic Kustom Ice Cream Trucks(Terry Fields)

Saw my last name mentioned in an earlier rebuttal that "I" had nothing to do with. You drew me into it, so now I'll let you have it .

Gave this SCAM ARTIST (10K) as a deposit for a (18,500K) build. Overhead view from Manta website depicts oversized building as business address that is MILES away from ACTUAL fabrication site. Building LOOKED for all purposes as legit: trailers, trucks in drive. Went there in person. Contractor knew lingo. Did INDEED purport to have a "shop" that was quote" Too full right now to take you to" endquote. Sent (10K) along with signed "contract" on (11/15/13), with payment clearing on (11/18/13 Mon.). According to contract, FINISHED PRODUCT due (30) days from receiving down payment for services and returned signed "contract". Same story as I Scream Man, (2) days BEFORE receiving (10K)..."Great News!!" "Local Truck, minutes to get to the "shop", driven by a widdle ol' local vendor who just wanted to "step down" from the biz. Within (48) hrs of recieving payment, suddenly that SAME vehicle was in VIRGINIA, and Coastal VA at that. Asked for pics repeatedly. Promised, none sent. Story went as follows: Sellor of StepVan owed (3) payments to gain "clear" title, vowed to pay immediately to finalize sale. (3) days later, STILL no purchase. THEN the stories really began. Notary, Court, DMV "jargon" trying to throw my wife off, who BTW has been a licensed LEGAL NOTARY in NC as well as the manger of one of the largest Real Estate businesses in the Coastal Carolinas for (19) yrs now, all rubbish on his (Terry Fields) part.

Finally after informing us that he couldn't purchase the "miracle vehicle", (Fields) supposedly returned home to WV. By this point we were already (14) days into the (30) days required via "contract" for Final Delivery of the "Contract" terms. Wife stayed on him leading up into Thanksgiving week (2013), (Fields) "snapped" at her via telephone convo one evening, at which point she looked me dead in the eye and told me quote "He just took our money, and he's not giving us ANYTHING in return" She already knew it.

Approximately (2) weeks later, STILL no StepVan and (Fields) was VERY hard to difficult to establish contact with. Suddenly Christmas (2013) was on us. At that point the COMPLETED BUILD was LEGALLY (6) days overdue, and NOTHING up until that point had been produced by (Fields). Only (6) days after Christmas on a whim one evening, I MYSELF set out on-line to find a StepVan MYSELF. Found one in just (20) min. through Marshal's Motors of Decatur IN. Informed (Fields) of find, and told him that for ONLY (6500K) of the ALREADY TENDERED (10K) by me, that I was ready to HAND DELIVER the vehicle to his (parent's driveway) for upfitting.

Tried for a full (3) day period between the Sellor of the StepVan and (Fields) to establish contact between them in order to vin, test, and finalize the purchase. Mr Matt Zimmerman ( who since BTW has COPYRIGHTED all of his website photos SPECIFICALLY to prohibit THIS VERY CON MAN from using them for his ILLICIT PURPOSES) couldn't establish contact with (Fields). Calls to (Fields) to connect with Zimmerman proved futile the entire three days. Mr. Zimmerman is willing and can ATTEST to those facts in a FEDERAL court of law in this situation.

Shortly after this failure ( after (3) DAYS of lies about being able to "wire" the funds required to Marshal' Motors), I contacted (Fields) via internet E-mail and informed him that as of that date (1/3/14) I had in effect been paying him an average of a shade over (500.00/wk) to just simply "hang out" while I found a sutiable StepVan for the "build" in just (20) minutes. Within SECONDS my phone was blaring, and I captured the entire convo on Sony Voice Recorder. "F"-bombs, threats that quote "The BEST lawyer in all of WV" would be standing next to me @ arbitration, that he (Fields) had over (194K) in Savings, and that quote " He with the most MONEY wins in court, it doesn't MATTER who's right or wrong" endquote. I could go on, but you get the point. Imagine how 'I" felt having to keep him "on the hook", STILL just hoping for a finished product while this (27) yr old that lives with his parents talked down to me in such an unprofessional manner. Go to my FB page and take a look at my "cover" photo. It's just ONE of the properties I'm attempting to "flip" at the moment. Despicable.

Meanwhile, THROUGH Mr. Matt Zimmerman of Marshal's Motors in Decatur IN I had discovered that he had indeed conducted LEGITIMATE business with (Terry Field's) FORMER EMPLOYER, also located in Charleston WV. I contacted this individual and established a rapport with him regarding (Fields AND his father's) employment with him in the past and learned that not ONLY was (Fields) using images, verbage, AND Franchise information off his the former employer's website and FB pages, BUT (Fields) had also in the past resorted to using the GOOD BUSINESS NAME of his former employer WHILE being employed by him to solicit "side jobs",AKA "ripoffs" as well. The VERY LEGITIMATE fabricator told me in one phone convo that quote "He has robbed me of THOUSANDS of dollars" endquote.

I have kept an ARCHIVED record of EVERY E-mail attachment, the (1) phone voice recording, EVERY FACEBOOK interraction ( blocking me doesn't STOP THAT Terry) I have EVER had with (Fields). He has already been reported a total of (2) times to the BBB (Charleston WV), and more than once already to E-BAY. E-Bay is where WE came across his FAKE TRUCKS with the incredibly LOW build prices that he simply placed on the site in order to "draw" 'victims" in with. Myself along with (2) other potential victims have joined together to report him to E-Bay. He has subsequently been prohibited from any further malicious posts for goods/services, although he has ALREADY attempted more than once to re-post under different "page names". RULE OF THUMB: Check out your FoodTruck posts thouroughly. IF at ANY point along the way of the description, the town of CHARLESTON WV, or even the STATE of WV is mentioned BEWARE and do your DUE DILLIGENCE moving forward.

As previously stated, Marshal's Motors, who has as a business been the pre-eminent victim of (Fields) in terms of photos being used without permission ( although not EXCLUSIVELY, I HAVE CATALOGUED (5) OTHER SOURCES BY WHICH THIS CON MAN HAS "RIPPED OFF" PICS FROM), has COPYRIGHTED their photos regarding any future use. THE MOST IMPORTANT site to go to involving this "destroyer" of hopes is the IC3.GOV  website, which BTW is the INTERSTATE/INTERNET FRAUD DIVISION of the FBI. They have ALREADY been contacted at least (2) times in regards to this 'SCAMMER", and I myself have yet to contact them.....yet. This unscrupulous person has ONLY been on the BBB's "radar" for (7) months now, and is accruing the complaints fast enough.

Nobody EVER made mention to (Fields) in our case regarding hime EVER ordering equipment for this project BEFORE he even recieved a StepVan to do the build ON. We even offered to hand him the FINAL (1500K) to "close this pitiful chapter out between us" for me to simply drive to his parents driveway, take delivery of WHATEVER equipment he had for me ( I knew he NEVER had it all along), in effect leaving the "contract" between us 'done and Final" with my paying him...get this (11,500.00) to simply sit at home for a total of, up until that point (1/20/14) SIXTY ONE DAYS, a full THIRTY DAYS past the due date for the finished product. I ask you, WHAT contractor that you have EVER heard of in ANY field would have refused an offer such as that? I just kept piling on the gratuities, even going so far as to at one point offer to go TO his parent's driveway MYSELF to help him physically do SOMETHING, A NY T H I N G  to give us even a "wisp" of the FoofTruck we so desperately wanted from the start. He (Fields) wouldn't work with us no matter how hard we bent over for him. AND IT'S ALL DOCUMENTED IN WRITING!

I'll do my best to inclose photos ( I have a total of around (30)) of the "shyster" in question. Remember, go to IC3.GOV, E-Bay ( Car Fraud/enclose amount sent, higher amounts go to top of "watchlist"), BBB, Yelp, Charleston WV Craigslist, Angie's list, or THIS website and about (20) others to voice your complaints should you have the unfortunate experience of encountering this SCAM ARTIST. His "rap" is good on the subject since he HAS worked in the trade previously ( not since he was 12 however, and as his former employer told me one day, IN PERSON I might add, he would have to be turning out a Truck every (9) days to be reaching the (40) Truck/year figures he LIES about regularly)

I'm biding my time so far. I've got (6) attorneys in the Charleston WV area just waiting for me to sign MY documents and relinquish the ENTIRE (10K) this IMPOSTER took from me JUST to have them take a leisurely stroll down a hallway and make HIM (Fields) "take the drive and time" to face the LAWYER in court. THIS (Rippoff Report) is the FIRST "squealing" I've done on this SCAMMER, and I wouldn't have done THAT yet, had I not seen MY last name mentioned in the WRONG 'rebuttal". You see, I'm not running because I have nothing to hide. I'm just, and I'm right in this matter. MOST of all, I'm legal. My name will be right up front.
