Sorry to hear about that

I'm sorry to hear about your issue with the Element TV. I work at a K-Mart in St. Louis, and I know that we had a few, but the issue you had is actually pretty common within K-Mart, especially during the "special" seasons, such as Back to School, Halloween, the "Holiday Season", etc. This past year was a nightmare when school was starting up; our ad had quite a few things on sale that we hadn't gotten in (and didn't get in until about halfway through the week).

The best advice that I can offer you in those situations is to get a raincheck. If it's an item that says "Limited quanities, no rainchecks" and you arrive attempting to purchase the item on Sunday morning, ask to speak to a manager. Where I work, if the case is that we simply have not gotten them in yet, the managers are always more than happy to give out a raincheck, even on items where rainchecks are not supposed to be allowed. If it's an item that we don't normally carry, a lot of times a manager will be willing to price-match on a similar item, normally resulting in you getting a greater deal than before on something of even higher quality.

Just a few tips that I thought I'd share. I hope your experience is better in the future.
