The CPA for KMS was sent $1195 in the form of 2 money orders for the services of KMS Investigations Inc. KMS did not provide their contractually obligated deliverables. Specifically KMS Inc. was hired to perform surveillance in Detroit and supply me with digital pictures, a video of their work to establish continuity, as well as a detailed report of there findings.

This work was performed on the days of May 13th, 14th & 15th. The report and other materials were supposed to be delivered to me within 2 weeks of completion of the surveillance. The company was also informed that I had an absolute deadline of June 18th to receive these deliverables in order to be able to use them in a court proceeding.

As of 6/21/2007 I had not received these. I did receive an email from KMS on May 30th with an attached document. This document was labeled as a report, but was incomplete and strife with inconsistencies, including incorrect dates and times as well as information that was directly contradictory to the details that were being provided to me by a KMS representative, Bill Taylor, through email and phone conversations at the time of the surveillance.

He also sent me a couple of pictures that were of an empty hotel lobby conviently blurred just enough to not be able to read the sign giving a date or location. I still have not received the DVD of pictures and video that was supposedly mailed to me in May.

Since May 30th KMS has refused to respond to my phone calls or emails. At this point I question whether or not the company even performed the work. Due to KMS' mishandling of this issue and current refusal to respond to my inquiries, the question arises of whether they are responsible for inferior work, or has KMS Inc. committed fraud.

I have reported them to the BBB of
California -where they had me send the money.
Delaware -where their latest address showed up,
Michigan -where the work was supposed to have been performed,
Alabama -where the so called report was generated from
and my home state as well.

The Delaware BBB reponded telling me that KMS is unsatisfactory in the Bureau's records They included a report with a total of 11 complaints since Aug of 2006. Currently KMS's mail is being returned as "Not deliverable as Addressed- Unable to Forward"
They suggested that I contact the Local Attorney General & the Federal Trade Commission @ 877-382-4357

KMS Investigations/Detective Agency is no 4front Investigations but Still a ripoff! Don't be fooled!

#3UPDATE EX-employee responds

Mon, September 10, 2007

My name is Krystal and I was employed for KMS Investigations, now known as KMS Detective Agency which is still run by Kevin Sianez (despite what he may tell everyone). I was responsible for setting up the customer database, taking customer calls (and lots of complaints), typing reports, etc. Throughout my employment, the majority of my payroll checks that were written to me by Mr. Sianez bounced! I finally left there after he laid me off because he was practically going bankrupt with tons of collectors, upset clients, and other people that he owed money to continuosly calling the office.

The reason I am writing this report is because I was recently contacted by a check cashing agency that is attempting to take me and Mr. Sianez to court because of a bad check that he wrote me. I have contact Kevin and he lies by saying 'That was taken care of a long time ago.' And whenever i try to contact him he treats me the same way that he treats you upset people, he ignores my calls and emails. I am in the process of taking Mr. Sianez to small claims court to resolve this matter because he has failed to do so.

In addition to me resolving my issue, I would also like to help you all resolve yours. As stated before, I used to be employed for this company and know tons of valuable information that may aid you all in getting your money back. Kevin will probably send a rebuttal to this attempting to to ridicule my statements or harm my credibility. However, I am an honest woman trying to make it through college and i'm not going to let Kevin and his lies interrupt that.

I read postings about numerous complaints on BBB California about KMS investigations but looked myself and theres nothing? Where did you get this information as the company is clean on BBB website? Doesnt make sense

Also BBB Delaware shows the complaints resolved in the favor of KMS Investigations??? I dont understand? Can you help clear this up?

I read this posting as we are getting ready to hire a Private Investigator but saw nothing that you mentioned listed on BBB in either state and wonder why you report different

Respond to this Report!
