Knox NightClub Houston It Wasnt About Our Money, it was About Our Skin Color! Houston, Texas
After watching the NBA playoffs this past season, a Houston native NFL star and a few of his close friends, decided to go to Nox Night Club. A member of the party sent a text message to club a promoter to confirm that the NFL superstar along with around 9 of his friends would attend their party.
When arriving to the door of the facility (with maybe 13 people in all), the promoter expressed that all of his group was not.going to be let in. The NFL star expressed "i know we only made reservations for around 9 or 10 people but I can pay for the 3 extra people to come in".
The doorman expressed "your money isn't the issue". The NFL star asked "well is it the space? Is space limited?" The doorman said "that isn't the problem either".
After a member of the group asked " so is the issue the color of our skin?" The doorman replied "well....." and was silenced by another employee. Some of the members of the groups laughed thinking it was a joke. But we soon came to realized that it clearly was not after being told no twice more by employees.
