Complaint Review: Knuckle Up Fitness

Knuckle Up Fitness Charged my cancel account and didn't pay me back the overdraft fees that they caused! Kennesaw Georgia

I used to be a member with Knuckle Up Fitness until I cancelled it when I moved. All of a sudden my bank account was charged $49 which was months after it was cancelled. Because of this charge, it caused overdraft fees. I called the gym and they gave me a contact. This woman said she would contact the owners and would let me know but I never heard from her again. I emailed her yet again, and still, nothing. This is bad business ethics and Knuckle Up Fitness does not want to be responsible for taking people's money and not paying them back. You would think the way the economy is that they would be a little more mindful but they don't care, they just want your money. The gym isn't all that great to begin with! If you join, good luck! It's a total rip-off!

The past week here has definitely been a trying one to say the least. From an employee's stand point I can tell you that I and none of my fellow employee's had no knowledge of what was to happen with the closing of the 3 Knuckleup locations. No one wanted this to happen for sure because we do love our members a tremendous amount. Not to mention the fact that I have several friends that have now lost their job, that completely sucks!!! Basically from what I see the company grew to fast to soon and got itself into debt, that combined with a struggling economy resulted in a Chapter 11 bankruptcy,"restructuring of debt" which finally resulted into what we have now. Now we are being painted as these bad people that are just out to get your money when that is entirely the furthest from the truth. Those who are posting all these comments and drudging up all the past information about previous and current owners have no idea what is really going on and why. But when anything like this happens everybody becomes an attorney, gets their "lawyer", speaks in legalize, and basically turns into a really nasty person. The fact of the matter is that our business has grown from one location in 1997 to 6 locations basically by word of mouth. If we were so bad than how could that be possible???? As far as what the past lives of what the owners did or didn't do is no one's business but their own since they have paid their debt to society and have now moved on with their lives living a healthier lifestyle and operating a business of their own that is legal, ethical, fun, healthy, good for the community, good for all ages, races, sexes, etc.... Who are we to pass judgment any way??? Have you never made a mistake? I know that I certainly have and I am quite sure that some of you posting this negative stuff out there have probably voted into office one of the worst criminals of our time. So with a little patience, tolerance, understanding this can all be worked out to every ones benefit. Knuckleup is the finest martial arts/fitness center in the southeast with some of the best instructors in the industry with more success stories than I can possibly tell. All the other martial arts/fitness schools in the city are a derivative of Knuckleup and have at one time either been in business with Knuckleup or been an employee. We have set the standard on how this type of training is done and how we care for our members. The fact is that business in this country fail every day, its not personal, its BUSINESS!!!! I am not here to offend any one, I wish I could snap my fingers and make it all go away, but thats not going to happen. However, this will pass and we will still be here providing the same great product, service, and price that you would expect with a friendly smile. We are under new ownership now and we welcome all. I look forward to helping any one who wants to change their life for the better because Knuckleup Fitness has changed my life for the better in so many ways I can't even put it into words. God bless all!!!

what do you expect from Knuckle up, if their leaders are all crooks!

they do business in a shady way,cos they are shady...
here are some facts...

Chris Stolzman- ower,is known for his cocain and orgy parties, spent one year in prison for drug use.

Morrison Butler-part owner, is known for his drug use, and once even spent a week in a coma from a heroine OD.

Craig hragyil - one of the owners of KU is an EX-con who spent 3 years on prison for internet fraud and theft. he stole senior citizens savings.

Chris wilson- is an ex con who spent 3 years in a federal prison for drug dealing.

Ruben lopez- an ex employee ( now dead) was accused of rape and kidnapping! and was working for KU the whole time, he eventually killed himself.

More so , KU filed for chapter 11 on December of last year. ofcourse they didnt tell their members, and keep signing up new ones, in hope of covering their losses. their clubs are behind on rent, they lock their door every night with chains and locks in fear of creditors, they just closed one of their locations. they will sign a bunch of members and then file bankrupcy...
leaving everyone but themselves with dept and losses...

these are all FACT and can be looked up in public record and the internet. are these the kind of people you want your children around? rapists, drug dealers and thieves? are the the people you want handling your financial info?

just look at their track record, they keep double charging clients, not canceling and just doing shady business altogther...if you join... dont be suprised when your account starts getting billed for stuff you are not authorizing...good luck!
