Kodak Warranty RIPOFF Rochester Nationwide
Purchased a Kodak digital camera. Our first ever. Love the picture quality, features, and ease of use. Purchased a new computer system and portable printer for our new digital picture experience. In September the camera stopped working. It won't power on/off. The lens won't go back in. I called Kodak, no problem it is still under warranty. The problem is I have to pay for shipping to a Dallas, TX business that is contracted with Kodak. In addition I had to pay extra charges because of the camera value. I don't think consumers should have to pay shipping cost on merchandise that is under warranty. They have no local authorized repair shops. I live in Phoenix, now the 5th largest metro area, and no shops! What a rip-off.

Just pay the shipping.

So you'd rather have a broken camera that you cannot use then to pay a shipper to take it?
I'd send it in. The cost of shipping is not as much as you paid for the camera. So if you choose be stubborn about not paying the shipping you will be out a lot more money.
BTW I do understand what you are saying in your complaint. But it just seems like it's less hassle to pay to ship it, then to come here and complain.
Most warranties are only covered at specific companies. You are in Arizona, Texas is right there. Now I would say it's wrong if you were supposed to send it to Maine.
