Complaint Review: Koi-R-Us Dai-Ichi Koi Pond Construction And Landscaping

I finally got the judgement from the small claims court. The court decided that I owed Richard Nieto, dba Koi-R-Us, and Dai Ichi Koi Pond Construction, nothing. However, Nieto owes me nothing on my countersuit as well. The bottom line is that I did not have to pay the remaining $500 to Nieto. I recently contacted several other Koi businesses in Fresno, CA, regarding some Koi's. I immediately asked them if they were affiliated with Nieto and was told that they knew who he was and would never be associated with him. I should have done more background checks on this guy before I hired him. Oh well, lessened learned. Hope this report will help other people out before they hire Richard Nieto.
