Konami fails to honor their warranty after customer is shocked by DDR gamepad! El Segundo, California

I purchased a Konami DDR Universe game for the Xbox 360 this Christmas. After about an hour of game play on the 25th, I unplugged the pad by the USB port and received a fairly strong electric shock accompanied by, what to me, smelled like burning electronics in the game pad. I promptly notified Konami via their online form for warranty issues on the 26th. It has been, by my count, 45 days and there has been nothing actionable. I have been asked repeatedly for the same information I provided initially and have been told to be patient, despite the fact that the game only includes a 90-day warranty, and we're already over halfway through that period since it is (presumably) measured from the date of purchase. I feel like I am being ignored. I think that I have been more than patient.

I advise you to avoid Konami products as they do not honor their warranties promptly and professionally.
