My wife and I purchased a Ford Taurus for our son. We bought the extended warranty and also gap insurance on the vehicle.

My son had a terrible accident and the vehicle was totaled, and when we called about the extended warranty we were given the run around that it was not worth that much pennies on the dollar actually.

We purchased the Gap insurance to pay the loan off if anything happened. Koons of Rockville since has gone out of business, but there are several other dealerships in the area under Koons and they have been no help, telling my wife and I that we were out of luck, as the Rockville office went out of business. It seems to me that Koons, Owner shouldbe liable for these items and Ford should hold some sort of responsibility with incompetent dealings with thhis Owner.

As they say it is what it is, but I have an appointment with a media represenative that is very interested in this issue.
