Kota Scooter Gary Schuetz Dishonest - Scam - Stole My Money LAKE ELSINORE, California
Warning - do not do business with Kota Scooter. My son ordered a custom built scooter online through Kota Scooter website and merchant charged credit card within 24 hours for a total of $338.70. I waited about 4-5 weeks and then started inquiring about status of scooter. I called the company number times and no one ever answers the phone (951) 241-0841.
I also sent numerous emails and did initially receive a couple of responses from Gary stating that Dakota was putting the scooter together and it would soon be ready for shipment. Waited another week and then emailed Gary as to the Fed Exp tracking info. Have not received any response or communication in 3 weeks. As of today, May 24, 2011 we still do not have the scooter.
Extremely dishonest and unprofessional father and son business.

So easy a caveman could do it!
The op should call his credit card company and file a dispute.

We have no records of any person purchasing a custom scooter from us anytime this year from someone from San Ramon California with a total of $338.70. We have no records of someone making phone calls from San Ramon. This post is not of a paying customer for Kota Scooters. We are not a company which does not deliver it products.
