At Home Depot, we purchased Kraftmaid top-of-the-line Cherrywood Cathedral-style cabinets to remodel our kitchen.

Not one or two, but EVERY cabinet came with some type of defect. A few defects were caused in production, but most were because of the POOR packing used for shipping! Thank heavens we only had one car in the garage the summer we planned this remodel. We simply waited for an ENTIRE MONTH until every cabinet was replaced (some more than once) with unbroken/unblemished product and THEN called the installers, who did a great job and finished tearout and installation in ONE DAY!

I have a mountain of paperwork and long-distance (no toll-free number) phone charges after having to call Kraftmaid nearly FIFTY (50) times to correct problems. When I ask for an adjustment in price, the Kraftmaid reps answered that, "Sorry, we can do nothing but replace product." We DID get a $250.00 adjustment from Home Depot, but that really wasn't enough, given all of our wasted time, energy and phone calls.

Two words about Kraftmaid: NEVER AGAIN!!!
