Kragen Auto Parts Rebate Fraud Phoenix Arizona
I bought an air compressor from Kragen with a $20.00 rebate. I sent in the rebate per the instructions. After quite a few weeks, they mailed out a rebate check for the $20.00.
I just saw a $20.00 debit and a $7.00 debit on my account. I called and they said Kragen STOPPED PAYMENT on the rebate check! You have got to be kidding me!
Obviously, CSK stores are off limits to me forever. THey comitted Rebate Fraud by canceling a rebate check.
The stores they do business under are O'Reilly Auto Parts, Checker Auto Parts, Schuck's Auto Supply, Kragen Auto Parts and Murray's Discount Auto Stores.

Just a heads up that Kragen contracts with Continental Promotions Group, Inc. based out of Tempe, AZ to process rebates/issue checks.
CPG filed for Chapter 11 on November 14th; anyone who submitted a rebate after that date probably won't have it honored. People who did receive a check it will probably be returned NSF.
If you've submitted rebates to any of these retailers you're probably scr*wed in terms of receiving anything:
Activision
Ad-Aware
Adobe
Antec
AVG
Bed Bath & Beyond
BFG Tech
Canon
Costco
Delorme
Fujitsu
Home Depot
Kensington
Logitech
Motorola
Nero
Newegg
PriceGrabber
Rosewill
Samsung
Smith Micro Software
TRENDnet
Westinghouse
XFX XM Satellite Radio
Zyxel
From what I've read in reports they've received payment from the companies but CPG is now telling these retailers/manufacturers they need to pony up with more $$$ or they won't issue any checks/gift cards.
Good Luck!
