I purchased a Great Dane puppy from them on July 26, 09. I paid more to have AKC papers given to me. They said they didn't have them and we signed a contract stating I would get them in the mail. I've sent numerous emails requesting them and was always given excuses. I finally started trying to find someone else who might have purchased a puppy from the same litter, to see if they were getting the same runaround bull crap. Every time I posted an ad on Craigslist, it would get deleted and then Jodi would email me that I was slandering her, even though I never used her name or the name of her kennel. I simply asked if anyone had bought a puppy from the Cassadaga, NY area because I wanted to find my pups siblings. She got angry and starting sending me abusive emails, swearing at and insulting me. I'm sick of waiting for this person to come through on what was promised and finally breaking my silence to hopefully keep people from buying dogs (or anything else) from these people.

I posted an update to my initial report on 11/25/09 that I had received the AKC papers so I don't know why that has to be restated. I'm glad the BYB followed that up with a personnal insult, it shows the exact type of person I had been dealing with. I'm not sure why the BYB would be sorry for the dog, as she knows absolutely nothing about me, which is what BYBs do, they don't ask you anything except if you have the cash.
I would not thank someone for "delivering" the puppy 5.5 hours away (and it's actually 3.5, google maps-Cassadaga, NY to Utica, NY) when that is something she offered in her Craigslist ad. The BYB wasn't doing me a favor, she was supposed to be in Utica anyway. (pictoral evidence attached)
I never stated I wanted to breed my dog and I have no idea where the BYB is even getting this info from. I did trade emails with the person who said they bought 3 of her pups and they spoke of breeding one of theirs, but decided not to because merles shouldn't be bred. (pictoral evidence attached)
I knew the BYB should eventually make a rebuttal to this, but I thought they might use the opportunity to clear their name, possibly by apologizing for swearing and insulting me through email, or explanaing how they are NOT a BYB (they don't health test, the sire & dam were never shown, and both parents were being sold on Craigslist as soon as they were done using them), but instead they used this to insult and lie about me some more. It's sad really.
I was over this whole affair on 11/25/09 when I finally received my papers and have moved on. Hopefully the BYB can do the same.

BACK YARD BREEDER? LISA BOGERT DID BUY A PUPPY FROM ME AND YES WE SIGNED A CONTRACT THAT SAID WHEN I GET THE PAPERS I WOULD MAIL THEM TO HER. AS I DID WHEN I RECEIVED THEM! THIS LADY IS UNREAL. OUR KENNEL IS WORTH MORE THAN HER HOUSE! I FEEL SORRY FOR THE DOG HAVING TO BE IN HER CARE. SHE ALSO FAILED TO MENTION THE DOG WAS DELIVERED FREE OF CHARGE 5 1/2 HRS FROM OUR HOME TO MEET HER IN UTICA NEW YORK! NO THANK YOU JUST SLANDER. SHE ALSO FAILED TO MENTION SHE WANTED TO BREED HER DOG WITH OWN OF THE PUPPIES SIBLINGS WHEN OLD ENOUGH FROM A LOCAL COUPLE THAT BOUGHT 3 PUPPIES FROM US. WHOSE A BACKYARD BREEDER GIVE ME A BREAK AND GET A LIFE!

I finally recived the AKC reg papers on 11/25/09. The following day I got another nasty email from Jodi, the breeder, letting me know she sent the paper. I'm not sure why they have to continue to be jerks, but apparently it's just the way they are. When I recieved the paper I noticed that the birthday for my puppy is 2 weeks off, he was actually 6 weeks old when she sold him to us. It's illegal to sell puppies until they are 8 weeks old, and they lied to us to cover up the fact that the puppy was only 6 weeks old when we got him.
