Krenzen Auto Mall in Duluth, Minnesota RIPPED ME OFF!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I purchased a car from Krenzen December 22, 2001 and I was told that there would be brand new tires on it-there was not. Not a huge deal so I let it go.
A week after I got the car, I had to start putting coolant in it. Not good I didn't think but it wasn't running that bad.
Two weeks after that I was at a stop light and my car started shaking really bad and when I stepped on the car it wouldn't really GO.
I started back firing all the way home and I brought it in to get it looked at right away.
Nothing was leaking but it smelled like coolant. It ended up to be the head gasket.
I live in St. Paul and I purchased an extended warranty and no one was honoring my warranty down here.
I called my salesman Tim, and he said there was nOthing that he could do for me since I was down here and that's why my warranty wasn't being honored.
If only I was in Duluth....Well he knew where I lived when he sold me the car and warranty!
As things started coming out, it turns out the car had been recalled because of this same problem and this was the third time this problem was getting fixed and every time it would be shorter.
Why didn't I know this before I drove the car off the lot?? Why would they tell a consumer they were buying a piece of s**t??!!
Finally Krenzen got nervous and told me that they would take the car back and I wouldn't lose any money.
I brought the car back and it took another s**t on the way there.
Back firing and it wouldn't GO! I got out of the car at Krenzen and fell in the snow bank.
Then they tell me that they are not gonna give me my full money back becasue the car wasn't running any longer. BULL s**t!
After 4 hours of discussing this they did give me my money back and a little extra he said for some problem with this new car that I HAD to get from them.
I got home and looked on the internet and the same car was being sold for $1000.00 less than what they sold it to me for. That's why they were so willing to "Give me a little extra".
How can they do that I ask myself?? And is there anything I can do??
My mother called Buckley right away the night day and he said that was to our advantage!! "Whatever", I said to myself.
So needless to say once again they screwed me. Not to mention, Buckley told me that seeming how he did SO much for me there was something I needed to do for him.
he told me that they needed to use the extended warranty that I purchased to fix the Cavalier and when they call and ask me if I authorized this repair I say yes. They can't do that!!
So, that's where I'm at now! Please watch what they're doing to you! Print out out the pricing before they rip you off and make them print out they history of the car first!
