I just literally came back from an interview.... and I printed out the previous rip off report to see what she would say about it.... Well When you walk in and the office is as big as a closet and there are 8 other people there.... obviously this is not a real company and you should turn around right away.

So as I sat there waiting to go in I told 2 other girls about rip off report because I thought I'd help them realize this was a come on before they got all excited about getting a job that they would have given to someone who flunked out of high school..

So wehn I went in there with the report I asked her if she had seen it and she goes No but frankly I dont care ... I dont care what people think about the company ( obviously she is around 23 and isnt very professional at all and didnt know how to respond properly to my question) She immediatley go all defensive and starts spouting off about how there are 40 people in this office and they all giver her a headache and if she worried about what someone said on the internet she would explode ( who talks like that) she swore during our interview and just was definatley unproffesional... but I acted like I wanted the job and it all sounded great so she asked me to come in for a second interview and thats all I wanted to hear :) So right after she said that I said yeah.... um this job just isnt right for me I thoguht this would be a real job and I stood up and finished the interview right there

By this time I had been grilling her the whole time and the only question she asked me was " Do you want to start immediatly?"

The job: as Becky explains is all sales you stand behind a table outside of Kmart or pick n save and selling child fingerprinting kits

WOW Im glad I went to college for four years to do something I could have done when I was 15

Word to the wise guys they send an automatic email asking to set up a interview No matter what... Do not even both going ... I did and I want that half hour back of my life

Stay away horrible company started by a 23yr old less than a year ago...RUN AWAY :) you will thank me later

Responce to Becky's "Lying is fun..."

Tue, February 19, 2008

Well Becky I have ready your "Lying is fun.." and honestly thats all it seems like you are doing. You did not defend yourself against accusations that were made about the company, all you did was attack an unemployed person about his views, that must make you feel very good about yourself.

Now personally I have never worked for your company or even interviewed, but my wife is a current employee of yours and I have heard plenty about the company. At first when she was being interviewed and got the job and going through training and everything she was excited about getting a new job that she really liked. As time went by she really enjoyed the job as she was going through training, she said there was a good atmosphere in the office and really liked being out talking to people while doing sales. Well after about two weeks or so she started having problems, she was told that she had to "ring bell" 3 times in 1 week in order to be considered for a Leadership position, and that all of her income was based on commision. None of which was explained to her at the interview, she wrote me a letter shortly after getting the job and she wrote down exactly how the job was explained to her for promotions and pay. Well for the past 2 weeks she has just been having more problems. The first week that it started was when she was put in front of a Petco and Office Depot and was trying to sell stuff for kids protection I guess you could say, first off who in their right mind tries to sell that stuff by a pet store and office supply store? Well she didn't sell much monday and tuesday so she was told to take the rest of the week off and call on sunday to say what she was going to do differently the following week, her check was approx $45 BEFORE taxes for that week. The 2nd week of problems started when I gave her a few pointers on sales to get back to work, but it turns out that they didn't have enough events for everyone so her and one other person drove around selling T Shirts, my wife and her partner sold all of their shirts both monday and tuesday but come wednsday she was told again that she didn't sell enough and to take the rest of the week off and call on sunday. When she called the following sunday she was told to not come in until Julia called her, now I don't know if Julia ever called back because I had to go to work but she never ended up going into work that day.

Now the advice that I have given my wife is to go back to her old job which she is still employed at part time and look for a new one so at least she will be making a steady income and not be told that she isn't doing her job right and not to come into work so she doesn't make enough money this month to make her car payment.

Now Becky, please tell me, this is a current employee that you keep telling to go home for the rest of the week becuase she isn't doing her job right, but everyone she worked with thought she was ready to go out on her own... what do you have to say about that? you still think that calling your company a rip off is a lie? or are you just going to attack me calling me unemployed like you did the last person?

For the record I have a steady job, I am currently serving a tour in Iraq right now and have the option of taking an OWT position at Ft. McCoy teaching combat lifesaver courses, so please....try to tell me that this is the rant of an unemployed american that is just mad at the world.

I do not think that being exposed on ROR qualifies you as having 'made it big'...

I should remind you that disreputable entities like AFNI, NCO, The City of Tupper Lake, Palisades, and even Charles in Alabama have had the pleasure of being the subject of a ROR thread. Therefore, I would not say that reading a first-hand bashing of your 'company' qualifies you that you have 'made it big enough'.

I know 'companies' like yours...as about twice a year I push your annoying sales reps into the snow when you bother me to buy some cheap toy, useless kit/gadget, or my personal favorite, SEWER IN A BOTTLE after I have already told you to get lost.

You all know what I'm talking about. Two people who look like they should be working at McDonald's approach someone who looks like he has money to burn holding a briefcase full of designer imposter fragrance oils (a.k.a. dung in a test tube). They try to get you first to buy a large quantity of this foul-smelling piss to sell at YOUR business - then try to get you to buy some for yourself.

Sadly for them, a professional with a Ph.D. and a REAL job making six figures (let alone a human being with a half-functioning brain) has the ability to literally smell their scam.

One day when I was waiting for the football game to come on I went to the store to buy some food. I had a little time to kill, so I asked these idiots how they got such a terrible job. They informed me of the closet they visited to interview for the position. They said that when they walked in there were many people who were whopping and yelling for them - and that after about 30 minutes of that rah-rah they were advised that they would be selling fragrances to people in parking lots. They said they were promised an office of their own after they sold only about a 'few' of these tubes of waste. They told me of their 'compensation' program, which resulted in their subsequent knowledge that a week's worth of 'good' sales was less than I made just driving to my job the day before.

I told them they were better off starting at the bottom of a legitimate organization, where at least they could get benefits and work their way up in an honorable manner. I informed them that they could get a college education for next to nothing via all the federal and state aid out there for emancipated students. I even directed them to the local community college. THAT DAY they said they were going to take the nasty viles of stink back to the office and enroll in programs that actually led to a future.

GOOD GUYS: 2 SCAM ORGANIZATION: 0

You see, Becky, scams like yours work really well...FOR YOU. All direct marketing sales programs result in someone at the top making money while the sales reps make little, which is fine for someone who wants to stand and sell cheap products all day. Unfortunately for you, you will ALWAYS be interviewing new people at your sardine can office because the truly intelligent people will see the job for what it is, not what you tell them it is.

From what I was told by your own people, you first waste time selling the prospect of owning an office before you let them in on the sad reality of what they must do as a part of the actual job. Not only is what you tell these new hires disingenuous and factually incorrect (in reality, they have to sell a TON of these worthless products per the fine print on the paper that the aforementioned ex-employees showed me before they can even be CONSIDERED for an office of their own - and even then, it is not guaranteed)

I typically do not say this about companies, but this one is a RIP-OFF if ever there was one. If someone truly has the life goal of standing in a parking lot annoying people with requests to buy cheap products, then this place is for you. If not, take a path that leads to a true career.

Then, after they have already made you money, you can tell them to keep the sales job or leave it. When they leave it, you move on and interview more suckers. The cycle is literally endless.

Dear Jay,

It's very unfortunate the unemployed angry youth of America, who thinks the world owes them 40,000 dollars out of college, has enough time on their hands to find other angry unemployed people to align with. Also has the audacity to come into an interview for a job they clearly do not want and ridicule it even more.

Here are some facts you left out Jay...

This company, whom which I am employed, has raised over 70,000 dollars for a missing childrens organization and also around 70% of the toys for Toys for Tots. However, working with non-profit organizations unfortunately we are not able to be located in a high-rise building due to lack of funds, so I apologize for the small lobby.

I'm sorry that this opportunity is not right for you when it comes to standing outside promoting a charity for 8 hours in the freezing cold...but it really shows a lot of class to make fun of those who do.

Jealousy for a 23yr old buisness owner who makes much more per year than you (being unemployed) is definitely something to be angry about Jay. I completely understand...I would be angry as well.

I would encourage people to examine this company on their own and on internet sites that actually tell legitamate facts not something an opinionated (previously angry) person writes about that is strictly opinion.

If we base our choices off only opinion maybe we should stop shopping at Wal-Mart, Home Depot, Target, or any other major retailer that has been in buisness for over 2 weeks that has hate websites.

So thank you Jay for letting the world know that we've made it big enough to now be on rip off reports.

We'll be conducting interviews all week if you're still unemployed.

Respond to this Report!
