Similar to the other stories posted on the web, we also experienced HORRIBLE/UNSATISFACTORY service from Kristen Dawson at LasVegasFrenchies.com. We first became suspicious of Kristen when the contracts she sent us included the wrong name of the sire and incorrect date of birth. We became more suspicious when she sent us pictures of our puppy that were taken two years prior (according to the properties of the photos). When confronted, she became defensive and non-apologetic, leading us to believe that we were being overly paranoid.

Strongly desiring a puppy, we went through with picking up our puppy anyway. We were disgusted at the physical presence of Kristen's house with 12+ dogs stacked in kennels in a small room, some two to a kennel, and a strong stench of feces/urine. We quickly fell in love with our puppy, Lloyd, but upon our first visit to the vet learned that he had a level 4 (out of 5) heart murmur, pneumonia, and 3 different parasites, including Giardia. According to Lloyd's vet history, he had been checked every week and there was no evidence of any of the said health conditions. We once again confronted Kristen and she again became immediately defensive, stating that vets overreact and that the parasites and pneumonia could be treated and that he would outgrow the heart murmur.

Throughout his puppyhood, Llyod's heart murmur continued to persist and the vets became very concerned with his well-being, stating that he would most likely need medication or surgery to thrive. Kristen asked for a second vet's opinion, which we willingly complied to, and they also confirmed that Lloyd had a serious heart condition. When reported back to Kristen, she emailed back that she would cover the vet bills because, as we pointed out to her, this was a congenital health problem, meaning she was responsible for the costs. $2500 later, after numerous rounds of medication to treat the parasites and pneumonia and after seeing a heart specialist, she has never returned our calls or emails. We have never been reimbursed.

We also have never received our AKC papers after numerous requests and promises from Kristen that they were "in the mail." We have gone as far as contacting the AKC to investigate her legitimacy as a breeder for French Bulldogs. No record of Kristen Dawson was found with the AKC.

With all of the health ailments upon adopting Lloyd, he may have even come from a puppy mill. We are pleading that you DO NOT trust Kristen Dawson and her empty promises. She is an unfit breeder and a scam. This is the only manner in which we can help mend the tribulations we went through during the first year of our puppy's life.
