Kristjan Ragnarsson is a money hungry doctor who has a main goal in life to make as much money for himself and the Mount Sinai Hospital.

He takes care to fill all beds daily at any expense. He even imports patients from other hospitals on their death beds to fill his beds at Mt Sinai

In 2007 a man named Howard Deane was transported after a skiiing accident to Ragnarsson's care. He later died when Rags and his cronies went home at night. He was only 36 years old.

He hired asian doctors from China sponsoring their J1 visas in exchange for accepting payment from their immigration attorneys. This was a pay to be a resident in the Rehab program.
