Krogers The store repeatedly overcharges for discouhnted items Miamisburg Ohio
On several occasions I noticed that the store posted discounted prices for products but the checkout charged the full amount.
On one occasion, I reported the disparity to the manager, but the next day the checkout was still overcharging.
I dare say that very very few people catch the overcharge. If they do, they have to stand in line for the clerk to correct the price. And no matter how many items they tried to overcharge, if you catch them, you get just ONE free.
Even if the discount for a given item is just, say, 50 cents, multiply this by hundreds of customers and you see how profitable the practice may be.
I have complained repeatedly to the manager, to the headquarters, to the Ohio Consumer Affairs, and the the federal government--but the practice is still going on.
