I was on cnn.com reading articles.  I clicked on what looked like an article about why some shampoos don't work.  It looked like a real cnn article.  It talked about why some shampoos don't infuse your hair with vitamins like they claim.  It also said that Kronos has new technology that allows it to work and to go to glow.com to get a free trial - you only have to pay for shipping and handling.

I went to glow.com, requested the free trial, and received it yesterday.  Luckily, I read the paper that came with it.  It says "Your 30-day trial ends on 4/30/10 and you will be billed $98.50".  It said nothing about this on the website!  Now, I've paid to have it sent to me and have to pay to send it back.

They make it very hard to return.  The paper says that if you don't follow the instructions "exactly", they will not accept the return.  (I have a sneaking suspicion that they will have a reason for not accepting it, and I will be posting here again.)  You have to request a RMA number on their website, which takes a while to figure out where to get it because their instructions are wrong, then they have to receive the package within 7 days of issue of the RMA number.  The package has to clearly show the RMA number.  They will not refund shipping charges.

I wish I would have done research on the company before ordering, but it looked like a genuine cnn article.
