KSW Marketing, Ken Weinraub, Titan Marketing, World Access Marketing, Magnum Marketing, Scam Artists - Door to Door Salesmen Cherry Hill New Jersey
KSW Marketing, led by scam artist and KENNETH WEINRAUB, is a pyramid scheme, commission based, fraudulent door-to-door sales company. KSW is affiliated with the following scam companies:
Choice Promotional Group (CPG), 3W Marketing, Titan Marketing, Magnum Marketing, Spartan Management Team, CAM, Platinum Promotions, COR Concepts, World Access Marketing.
The interview process will lead you to believe you will work for a sports marketing firm. You will likely find yourself waiting to be interviewed in the lobby with several other interviewees (in my case, I was one of six at a time!). Con-Artist KEN WEINRAUB will then invite you in and let you know you've been offered the job, out of everyone who applied. In my case, he lied that I was one of 125 applicants to get the job. Turns out, everybody who came in was offered the job. The same people I shared a waiting room with and who supposedly did not receive a job offer were back the next day as employees.
Beware of KEN WEINRAUB and his scam artist employees. Only upon arriving for work the first day will you learn that the office has NOTHING TO DO with sports marketing. You'll find yourself soliciting customers in a Home Depot, or bothering people at their homes as a door to door salesman. One employee, ALYSSA BOYLE, consistently displayed unethical tactics while "in the field," no doubt taught by her boss KEN WEINRAUB.
If a person did not want to be bothered at his or her house, she would maliciously tell them she is not selling anything, just informing the neighborhood that her company is to cut the power to the house for several hours. These are the types of unethical people you will deal with at KSW Marketing and its affiliates. Stay far away from these criminals.

I was hired by Ken Weinraub about 6 months ago and have since moved to a different office with one of his promotions into another market (which, by the way have seen 5 of since I began with the company in February) Ken treats all of his employees fairly and every person who is hired after their 3rd round interview does have the same opportunity to make it into a management position.
There are a few reasons that some people can't get leads and inevitably quit. If the people you are talking to and trying to promote a product to do not want to speak with you because you are A) impersonal B) unfriendly C) not confident or D) simply don't know what you're talking about, then that means you're not a great fit for the job. It does not mean that the job is a scam. Those with shaky hands are not the ones who operate on us and those who don't have people skills should not be the ones generating interest in a product.
Every time an employee generates a lead (a lead consists of the salesman having the opportunity to actually PRESENT the product, not someone signing up for an estimate and then calling and canceling) the employee gets the larger split of the pay break. If you care enough to ask, you are clearly shown what your issue/demo rate is for the week and how you received the paycheck that you have.
I have had consistently high paychecks because I learn from other people in the office who also generate high paychecks. If you are unwilling to learn how to succeed in the business then you are wasting your time as well as anyone who takes their own time to help teach/train you and yes, you should in fact quit and go find a job in which you will earn an hourly wage where working harder does not pay off. This way you can be lazy and still get paid enough to survive and work a 9-5 until you reach the ripe age of 70.
If this isn't the job for you, that's perfectly fine. There are many motivated people who grasp the larger concept and are willing to put some time in now in order to be stable later on. I don't even work directly under Ken any longer but am still inspired by his weekly conference calls he sets up with everyone striving for similar goals. He does not mislead anybody and if you've ever actually sat with him and listened to what he had to say you'd probably be a lot better off financially/professionally. We are not SCAMMING anybody. Not the people who come in for interviews and not the people we give free estimates to. Those coming in for interviews, if hired; do have the opportunity to make it to management and those who sign up for free quotes, get free quotes.

I graduated from college this past May (2009) and was job hunting all summer. About a month ago I saw a post on Monster.com for a "brand new" marketing company I had never heard of, now being new to the whole job search thing I was applying everywhere and figured I'll just go on as many interviews as I can mainly for the experience of the process. The Monster post used all the usual terminology..."entry level" "dedicated individuals" "team-oriented" "no experience necessary" pretty much every trite office-place term ever uttered. Again, I was new to the whole thing so I applied at about 1am one morning. That same day around 9am my phone rings and its a girl "Maddy" from Human Resources asking me to come in for an interview at their new Wayne, NJ address. So of course I went and while sitting in the office I noticed a few things that made me wonder...I notice under the TV, stacks of DVDs (Training Day, Joe Dirt, Napoleon Dynamite, Showgirls), I just thought it was strange that in a professional setting, they would be stocked with R and low-level NC-17 movies. Then I hear "Maddy" answering the phones 3 different ways, first she answers as HR, then Marketing, then the front desk...I think, man this girl is quite the multi-tasker and I think she realized that I was paying attention and she starts telling me "Oh yea the girls for these departments all called out today, geez I'm gonna be swammped!" All the while we talked, everything she would say sounded rehearsed. I even asked her about the company, saying that I've never heard of it which then sent her into scripted tirade how she never finished college because she made so much money at their Cherry Hill office then was promoted and moved to northern jersey at this new office. It seemed like she wanted to keep me talking to distract me from the fact that my interview was at noon and at this point it was 12:40 and I was the only person in the waiting area.
After 50minutes I finally come face to face with KEN (the boss/owner/entrepreneur) who by the way never told me his last name the entire time I was there. What was supposed to be a 5-10minute interview to "put the face to the resume" became a 35minute sales pitch about how if I stick with the company after working in the "field", I could be rich. He mentioned starting in Cherry Hill, expanding his business and needing dedicated people to run these offices. He gave me way too much info for the first interview, he was basically trying to sell me the company even talking to me about compensation and the fact that I could potentially make 1600bucks my first week, and right there I went "this isn't right". Usually during an interview, the candidate does a majority of the talking. I spoke probably for a total of 5 minutes during the course of our meeting, Ken just kept talking and even if this was a legit company, I would have lost interest regardless.
Before I left he wanted me to come back the following week because I "had promise"...aka seemed to be buying the BS. Out of hundreds interviewed, I was one of the people that had promise which at that point, I knew this guy is trying way to hard to flatter me. As I walked out, the empty waiting room turned into an airport terminal, I could barely get to the door it was so crowded...I should have told them all to run.
I came home and did a little research, luckily I found this site and many others only to discover that my suspicions were correct and warranted. I quickly sent an email to the Front desk manager/Marketing coordinator/Director of Human Resources/Recruiter "Maddy" and told her I was not going to make the interview the following week and thanks anyway. I received 4-5 calls a few days before the 2nd interview and simply didn't pick up my phone, they knew why.
I just want to thank this site and everyone who's posted about this bogus ploy to sucker recent grads into a "profitable position". To any Undergraduate/Graduate reading this, hang in there! Don't settle, just keep punching and have some patience, it's worth waiting for the right opportunity. A week later, I applied for a job with Weichert Realty as a Recruiter working under the VP...I now have the job and am very happy. I should give "Maddy" a call and get some advice about the recruitment industry or maybe tell her a more effective way to sell a scam.

Okay so I went to Titan (like 2 yrs ago) and learned the BS day one and told the guy Ken he was nuts and he told me I was "dumb" if I couldn't make a go off a job like this. He told me the 2nd interview was for 8 hours and no pay. I told him he was dumb to think people would willingly do that. Now it seems they don't tell you at the first interview the BS of the second.
BUT here is the best part I just got a call for THE MARKETING GROUP who low and behold has the same address and phone number as TITAN. These are such BS companies who give marketing firms a suckly name. They got my name from old files. I have reports out to the BBB about the and fair labor. If you go out for 8 hours and physically work they HAVE to pay you that IS NOT an interview by LAW.

First I must say WOW.........Ken Weinraub your an idot!!! hahaha
Whoever you trained to do your interviews is a f**in retard! You suck!
I watched the report online and man I wish I was the one that turned you in! I wrote them and of they need any information OMG I am giving them everything! I hope you sink and die in Hell!
The girl at the end of the clip said it was found by a sports marketing company! lololol.....The Company was found in the late 1980's in Canada. I forget the founder's name....if someone could refresh my memory that would be awesome...I wish I could pick everyone's brain of former employees about how the company started on this blog site!!!! THAT WOULD BE GREAT!!!! The crazy part I saw him in Dallas for a leaders meeting....the company was Innovage...An Owner from Delaware said the company used to buy up alot of inventory that was being sold for cheap from stores that were closing down and would be given to the sales reps to sell, like headphones and walkmans, and calculators....
The a$$hole Ken Weinraub is so stupid he does not know how to make his own advertising and copied an actual Marketing ad from either his roommate Kyle Depold owner of Titan Marketing or other business to business companies that actually sell sports promotion packagaes, or he was so stupid he copied one of Doug Ascher's ads that actually sell smart circle promotions in one of his other offices throughout the country. By the way the real criminal is Doug Ascher! I hope Doug Ascher blows Ken out of the business for getting caught and put on CBS 3 Philadelphia!
Doug Ascher is acutally a good story teller to get you motivated to get out and get as many leads as possible.
Kyle Depold's Titan Marketing is the people that actually sell Sixers promotions CBS 3! The Philadelphia Phillies do not need Smart Circle because they will never have empty seats to fill because of their success of winning the World Series, but the Sixers on the other hand have alot of seats un-filled and use Smart Circle to get foot traffic sent to them! Ask Premal Colaco! He ran the campaign from October 2007 until April 2008, he was promoted into Assistant Management sometime in the end of January 2008, and launched in Fairfax, Virginia, to Primal Marketing! Juice to him! He should have been promoted 3-4 months earlier. Primal Marketing is Kyle's "outside deal," that now does business like a-hole Ken, Home Improvement that was trained by Derick Colantonio. Hopefully Premal was smarter than Ken. Its too bad that Premal stabbed his Leader in the back, (who I will not mention out of respect), to increase his trust with Kyle Depold, that actually cost Kyle 2 outside deals, (meaning 2 people with potential to run their own companies,) and I mean ALL STARS at selling anything!
Ken is just stupid on how he promoted his company online thats it! The Home Imporvement Division is a tough division that develops sales leads for construction companies to get out to people and conduct free sales quotes that might in-turn into a real sale for the construction company because the customer might actually need new windows in their house or a new deck.................BUT if the customer does not get any work done, their free quote is free, and the sales lead generated by the Sales Rep or (Distributor) is not paid b/c no work is actually done to the customers house.
There must be a way to put these Marketing Companies out of business!
Anyway I love it that CBS 3 was actually at 950 N. Kings Highway, in Cherry Hill, NJ, 08034! WOW THATS AWESOME..............Juice by that!
The funniest thing I must admit, but hate to admit, is that the 4, the 5 and the 8, has really helped me be a success at what I do now, which is crazy to say! lololol

The attempt Ken Weinraub and Alyssa Boyle made to accuse me of "drinking" her coffee was laughable, yet not surprising when considering their moral compass.
Anyway, I am not on here to prove my point to you. The court already found in my favor. I am on here to help anyone else stay away from this company. And I see many others are as well.
Someone posted this online, I suggest everyone take a look:

If you are happy at KSW, I am not attacking you. However, you do others a disservice by falsely advertising the company as something it is not. You calling me an "idiot" shows the quality of character of the people who work at this place. I did not fail to realize that Ken Weinraub was in the field however many months ago. This man does not pay "a ton of money" for people. He hires people for free labor, and then fires them if he thinks they will serve no more purpose. You should know this being an "insider" at the office. After all, so am I. At the time of your posting, you had been there two month,s Lee. By the time you see this, I hope you've realized the true nature of this office.
Lastly, despite what you say about me lying and making up stories about Alyssa, I was present when she said these things and you were not. Your ignorance would have stunned me had I not known you are a part of this company.

When I went in for an interview I was told that the company was opening up a new firm in Dallas to promote sports teams. I was told that not only are they a sports marketing company, but that I would be working in sports marketing. This was a lie. This is not my crappy opinion, it is a fact stated from my experience.
Let me ask you this too: What is garden theory?
I will tell you. It is not a theory at all. It is away to break down your day by relating your talks with persons A-M with your talks with persons N-Z when the two groups of people have both no interaction or relation to each other. This "theory" created by Wienraub and Rodriguez is designed to make you not feel so bad that so one wants to sign up for your free in-home estimates for cabinet refacing or custom decks.
It is fraud, make no mistake about that.

I previously worked for KSW Marketing under Ken Weinraub for around 8 months so I obviously got a better understanding of the business as well as Ken. In the inital interview process, the person being interviewed is made aware that we do infact work with HOME IMPROVMENT COMPANIES although the history of the organization did at one point specialize in SPORTS MARKETING. Apparently some people can't pay attention long enough to hear that we no longer work in sports because HOME IMPROVEMENT is a much more lucrative field.
Not everyone who interviews is offered the job, the co-workers in the office are the judge of whether the individual would be a good match for the position because they spend the day with the person. KSW employees are trained well enough (when they stay longer than two days and are not asked to leave due to being a creep by doing something like, I don't know, drinking a co-workers who they've known for 4 hours' coffee...cough, cough) to see whether the person will be happy with this position and could potentially be sucessful in this business. Luckily for most, KSW employees are very optomistic and usually do bring most back in hopes of sculpting anyone into a business savvy person.
Now on to the pyramid scheme. Definition: A pyramid scheme is a non-sustainable business model that involves the exchange of money primarily for enrolling other people into the scheme. In no way is anyone required to pay any money to be a part of KSW MARKETING. If the genius writing this report believes this business is a pyramid scheme because it envolves the employees working to make the boss more money than HE's going to have alot more reports to write. Every industry in America involves the employees working which in turn makes the boss more money.
KEN WEINRAUB is an "everything on the table" kind of guy who would do anything in his power to make sure his employees are happy and compensated for their hard work. He will tell everyone from the start that this business is not for everyone and is mentally difficult but the same opportunity for success is presented to everyone. Not one person who has worked for KEN for long enough to get close to him and understand the business as well as his demeanor would complain or write a weakly put together argument about KSW MARKETING or KEN WEINRAUB.

Brainwashing
#14UPDATE EX-employee responds
Wed, January 07, 2009
It is easy for these people to brainwash you into thinking that you can make thousands of dollars at this company. Would you get your own family members jobs at this place? I think not. How many jobs have their employees ring bells when they make a quota? People are told to ring the bell so that they feel like they are doing a good job and a worthwhile one too.
Real jobs don't tell you to lie to customers to get them to sign up for free inhome estimates.
Real small businesses don't, in the course of a year, hire thousands of people who end up quitting.
Smart people don't work for a scam company once they find out that it is a scam.

What is the real problem you have with this marketing company?
#14UPDATE Employee
Thu, October 16, 2008
I am an employee with this marketing firm. I have been with this office for just over 2 months. In my opinion the person who trashed Ken as well as Allysa is a complete idiot who apparently couldnt deal with the type of job this was. As things would reason, the company did start out with sports and entertainment and has evolved to home improvement which, by the way, is the number one industry in our country today.
Another thing you failed to realize is that just 16 months ago Mr. Weinraub was in the field doing what you would be doing as an 'entry' level position. Yes, the add did mention entry level. As far as the numerous interviewees you noticed in the office the day of your interview, that is just because this man pays a ton of money to recruit people so that you, if you had lasted and gave it a chance, could build your own team and eventually run your own office. You failed to see the bigger picture. The other thing you conveniently blow off is that when the 'sales' people are out, they are not really selling a thing, but rather giving free information on projects a person might consider doing in the future. How easy can it get, to get paid to give free information away. You, are one of many that dont get it. Not everybody does. It is those that work diligently and keep a positive attitude that succeed.
As for your comment about Alyssa, you are lying and are making up stories. I know her personally and she never said they were cutting off power in the neighborhood. In fact, it would have been completely the opposite... she would have said she was promoting power. So there!
