Kurtis Lee Renth, Sr. DEADBEAT DAD and THIEF RIPOFF Swansea Illinois
Kurtis Lee Renth, father of two beautiful children is currently behind in child support over $2200.00. The children have not had child support since November of 2004. Currently a court order is in place requiring Kurt Renth to pay child support. He works under the table to avoid paying the support. He has been ordered numerous times to pay this support but the court system DOES NOT ENFORCE COURT ORDERS IN ST. CLAIR COUNTY. With two motions to show cause Mr. Renth still laughs at our judicial system. His girlfriend Laura M. Ware their marital assets and used them as down payments on a new 34,000.00 truck for Kurt Renth. They both reside in a 200,000.00 home and the mother of Kurt's children works two jobs to make ends meet.
Mr. Renth not only does not pay child support but entered into the business Ms. Renth in order to take care of her children started and stole company checks, the company credit card and charged gas, groceries, cable, electricity etc on her company cards as well as forged her name on a contract to finance a motor vehicle.
This mother has also been forced to pay her husband's tax debt in that she works to support her children. In that Mr. Renth only works under the table and submitted an incorrect tax return the IRS is making this mother pay for the deadbeat's $2400.00 tax liability due to the fact that the return was filed joint. The best part of that story is that when the refund check was sent Mr. Kurtis Renth forged his ex wife's name and cashed the check. The only party in the household that was paying taxes was Mrs. Renth.
Mr. Renth doesnt hide and he boasts that he has a court order enforce and even then he doesnt have to pay child support. "Thats the advantage to living in Illinois" he states. Mr. Renth is a classic deadbeat dad enabled by Laura M. Ware who is 13 years his senior and also a mother of a son 25, Craig Ware. She is employed as a dental assistant for Dr. Steve St. Eve in Belleville, Illinois. Your visits to this office help her to continue helping Mr. Renth avoid his financial obligations to his children.

He's working for cash (under the table) and as long as he is able to do so the state will probably be unable to collect support payments. State support enforcement agencies use wage garnishment to collect child support and locate employers using a new hire registry.
Non payers that want to avoid this often work for cash or simply slip from one job to another when the wage garnishment is served.
Let the state do their job. Avoid the "non profit" support collection agencies, most of them take a percentage of anything they can collect. If he is indeed working for cash, it is not likely they will be any more successful collecting the support than the state.
As long as he keeps no assets in his name and does not have a reported job there is little that can be done.
If you are aware of where he may be working have someone go and videotape him at work, the judge will be very interested in seeing this. If you are aware of any assets in his name (auto, home, bank accounts etc.) provide this information to the state - other than real estate most property can be seized and sold under court order to pay your obligation. In the case of real estate a lien can be placed on the home, even if he is only a joint owner.
The reality is you may sporadically see a payment for support - it is not likely it will ever be consistent while he works in this manner.
You can take some comfort from the fact that if he is either this interested in avoiding the support or simply this irresponsible, he will never have a decent long term job. Cash jobs are always short term and unreliable as a source of income.
For now, he has a "girlfriend" who is apparently supporting him. At some point she will "wake up and smell the coffee" and he will be without anything. Another comfort for you.
