Kuru Film Productions, especially Timon Van De Voorde,
but also Babette Poncelet, Winnie Poncelet and Niek D'Hondt,
will frame you out of your money and rights every chance they get.
They publish and use film material without written consent from cast & crew,
they publish private films (don't ever let them film your events!).
They have no skills whatsoever within their field, but they will lie about it.
They also use other people's material and claim it as their own.
None of their contracts are legal, yet they will claim otherwise, but they will not hesitate to take your money and leave.
About their crews: they fail to pay back any costs made for their films and very often they will promise material without ever providing it. Many of their 'movies' have failed. All the invested money disappeared.
They do tis very often with kickstarter or indiegogo: they will try and get a movie funded, but the movie never gets made, or it gets made but it will be extremely amateuristic. The money goes into their own pockets.
Don't ever trust them or work with them!

Hello,
Please elaborate some of your statements. We at Kuru are convinced these are false accusations.
"will frame you out of your money and rights every chance they get.": we are a non-profit organisation. Moreover, Kuru does not pay its members any fees. Simply put: we put time in because we like doing what we do and not for financial motivations. This is a serious allegation, so please back it up.
"they publish private films (don't ever let them film your events!).": I can not remember a single occurance of this. We have made some videos for people, but have never published them without consent. Please include some specific complaints.
"They have no skills whatsoever within their field, but they will lie about it.": The first part of your statement can be considered your opinion, which you are entitled to. However, we do not lie about what we can and cannot do. That is why we often work with third parties for skills we do not possess, such as postproduction.
"They also use other people's material and claim it as their own.": if I understand correctly, this is an accusation of theft. We have never had anyone accuse or complain to us about stealing. This is the first thing I hear about this. Please elaborate on some specific examples, if there are any.

We have never lied about any contract or had trouble concerning contracts. We have never stolen money from anyone. Please elaborate on a specific example.

All the invested money disappeared.": we have had some problems with payments being delayed, years ago when we started. This has all been resolved a long time ago. We make our payments in time, please refer to http://sintpietersabdij.stad.gent/en/content/membership-monte-blandinio-vzw or https://stad.gent/ (which is an official government instance, the department we cooperate with can vouch for us). Per your request I can provide a list of references of cast&crew who have received their payments in due time. Kuru has never taken outside investments for any of its movies, so if a movie fails, it is our loss only.
