I received a mailer from Kustom Karbsbragging about they would GURANTEE "fantastic" good results if I would buy at no risk, and install their Elecktro-karb unit.There were the testimomial letters and all, to include a TREMENDOUS business offer to sell to friends and by mail to others.I paid $50 to have it put on my car, a 2004 Lancer. I did not get a noticable increse so I adjusted the setting as directed and in a week the results were a decrese of .5 mile in driving mileage. I reset, and the results were DOUBLE bad..one mpg less. I rest, and wrote aletter, saying my first choice is I want them to tell me if I have a defective unit or how to work it, and the SECOND choice, IF IT DOES NOT WORK, send me my money back as offered. So far I have sent them four letters, and the last that I would report them to as many as I can think up, including Aurthur"s church, school, all the garages in his town, and the usual others.Right now I am LOSING from 27mpg when I started, to 24.4 now.I am now out $154 plus $50 to install it,PLUS all the DECREASE in mileage I suffered.I am willing to report this ripoff to anyone anytime.Let me know, and THANK YOU very much. I recently had the Kustom Karb unit installed on my car, a 1998 Chevy Lumina. I increased my gas mileage from 19.6/20 mpg which I checked regularly to 23.5/25.4 mpg depending on where I was driving. I am pleased with the results.
