Kwik Kar Oil & Lube, JWP, Senior citizen rip-off for A/C service Pearland Texas
Requested a check and add of freon in A/C system and charge for service. Was quoted a charge of $25.00. Agreed to price. When work was completed, the bill on the terminal showed $75.00. Questioned the change in price. Another worker came in and stated that was his charge. I requested to speak to a manager, was told that there was no manager. Ask for a regional office or corporation contact - was told that there was no other offices, privately owned. To get the keys to my van I had to pay the $75.00.
Report is being made to let others know that the Kwik Kar location at 2610 E Broadway, Pearland, TX is ripping people off. I am a female senior citizen and feel that the worker only increased the charge because he felt he could get away with it.
I will never visit a Kwik Kar location again.
