kwik kar recommended services I didn't need then left my brake reservoir cap loose and said my vehicle was dangerous to drive plano Texas
Took my vehicle in to get an oil change. Service tech returned stating that I needed additional services in the form of fluid flushes for power steering, coolant, transmission and brakes. Also brake pads and air filters. I told him that I would check with my boyfriend in the evening to see if these were truly needed and return the next day.
When I told him that he was emphatic that I needed these additional services to the point that my vehicle dangerous to drive. I declined, recieved my oil change and left.
Upon leaving the business I started having an brake indicator light come on my dashboard when I would drive over a bumpy section of roadway. Upon further inspection we discovered that my brake reservoir cap had been left loose on top of the reservoir. This certainly did create a potentially dangerous situation for me and my vehicle.
Since my boy friend regularly checks the fluid levels in my vehicle and this was not an issue a few day prior, I believe this was intentional to scare me into returning to get the additional services.
I want to send out a warning to other potential customers that this establishment may be dangerous to your pocketbook and or person.
