If your son is interested in competitive gymnastics, stay away from 20/20 Gymnastics in Keller, TX. Kyle Turner was originally head coach of Empire Gymnastics in Bedford. There were so many complaints, he was fired in the middle of a competition season in 2013. He then gym hopped, renting out run down gymnastics facilities and making it difficult for most gymnasts to practice. Some gyms were over an hour away. Finally, one parent told him about Crusaders Gymnastics, where he has been ever since. The owner stepped down and the name has been changed to 20/20 Gymnastics.

Kyle is very verbally abusive to the boys on the team. He has a pattern of singling out certain boys to ridicule, humiliate, and not properly coach. He has made students do excessive conditioning when they are not able to perfect a skill. Examples are climbing the rope repeatedly, running outside in extremely hot conditions etc... He also shows immense favortism towards gymnasts he thinks have the most potential of winning. He is very unproffesional because he has little to no written nor oral communication with the parents. Kyle has a tremendous amount of turnover. The boys either go to another team or quit the sport entirely because of his erratic behaviour.

Think twice before entering this program.

Learn the definition of Defamation of Character .... "Diana"

First of all, your hostility towards me does not help anyone. Secondly, if you know the law, defamation of character is when you tell false statements of another person. I have only told the truth, what I witnessed or what my son witnessed toward himself and other teammates. My son competed under Empire Gymnastics and Turner Gymnastics while Kyle was head coach. I'm not sure the relevance of this random 18 months you, "Diana" or ex employee, "Erin" keep feeling the need to mention. Whether my son was on the team one year ago or one day ago is irrelevant. Stop the threats.

Absolutely false accusations about Kyle Turner and his program.

First of all for someone who has know Kyle for about 20 years and knows his true character, thinks your accusations are baseless and farthest from the truth as possible and sounds more like an upset and bitter parent who did not get their way and now after not being with Kyle for about 18 months wants to make vindictive and false accusations which actually is defamation of character and you can be prosecuted for these untrue statements you have made. As well as violate the guidelines of this website by posting false statements and accusations. Kyle has never and would never be "emotionally, physically or verbally abusive" towards any person yet alone a child. So what does that say about your character, to make baseless and false accusations about someone?

I AM VERY PROUD OF THE PARENT THAT WAS BRAVE ENOUGH TO COME FORWARD WITH THIS INFORMATION ABOUT COACH KYLE TURNER'S COACHING WITH OUR CHILDERN.

I HAVE ALSO WORKED WITH COACH KYLE AND EXIPERIENCED SOME VERY BIZARRE BEHAVIOR WITH HIM AND HIS COACHING WITH CHILDREN..

IS ALL THE MEDALS AND AWARDS OF ANY KIND WORTH PUTTING YOUR CHILD THROUGH THIS STRESS?

To Anonymous in Bedford:

I apologize that you felt the need to make this post.

Coach Kyle has worked very hard to establish himself at the level he is at.  He has won numerous awards for his coaching, and has a nationally renowned program.  I do apologize if his current team program and/or rules and policies were not right for your family.

As someone who has coached with and for Kyle Turner both before and after the owernship change, I can say that any athlete looking to do men's gymnastics could not pick a better program to be apart of. In fact, Kyle does far more than just make nationally recogonized gymnasts.  He also creates stablitly, instills character, and teaches the importance of commitment and discipline to each of his team members on a daily basis. Kyle Turner and 20/20 Gymnastics saved that gym, and in my opinion, has greatly enhanced each of the lives of his athletes for the past decade.
