Complaint Review: KYOCERA INTERNATIONAL

THE ORIGINAL KYOCER E4810 THAT I HAD HAD THE FOLLOWING DEFECTS:

WHEN YOU PRESS CERTAIN NUMBERS ON THE KEYPAD THEY DID NOT APPEAR ON THE SCREEN UNTIL YOU PRESSED THEM A 2ND TIME.

POOR SOUND QUALITY. FRIENDS OF MINE TOLD ME MY VOICE SOUNDED MUFFLED AND WHEN I HEAR THEM SPEAK THROUGH THE EAR SPEAKER INSIDE THE PHONE THEY SOUNDED DISTANT.

THE REPLACEMENT PHONE HAS THE SAME PROBLEMS LISTED ABOVE. 

THESE SOUND QUALITY ISSUES WERE PRESENT WITH THE SPEAKER PHONE OFF.

AS COMPARED WITH MY MOTOROLA RAZOR V3M FLIP PHONE, THE KYOCERA E4810 FLIP PHONE HAS POOR QUALITY SOUND.

SEE THE ATTACHED SOUND RECORDINGS I MADE COMPARING THE KYOCERA E4810 TO THE MOTOROLA V3M RAZOR FLIP PHONE.

THE VOLUME ON BOTH PHONES ARE SET AT THE LOWEST SETTING AND THE SOUND FROM THE KYOCERA SOUNDS DISTORTED OR CLIPPING. CLIPPING IS WHEN THE VOLUME IS SET TO HIGH. BUT IN THIS CASE THE VOLUME ON THE KYOCERA WAS SET AT THE LOWEST LEVEL.

A COPY OF THE SOUND COMPARISON RECORDINGS WAS SENT BY EMAIL TO KYOCERA AND THERE WAS NO RESPONSE TO MY REQUEST FOR A REPLACEMENT PHONE OF EQUAL OR GREATER VALUE.

EVIDENTLY KYOCERA DOES NOT CARE ABOUT IT'S CUSTOMERS AND I BELIEVE THEY KNOW THERE IS A SOUND QUALITY PROBLEM WITH THESE PHONES AND THEY DO NOT CARE.

THE KYOCERA E4810 IS AN OVERRATED, OVERPRICED POOR QUALITY SOUNDING PHONE!!!!!!!!!

DO NOT BUY IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
