L A Auto Emporium has terrible customer service after the sale. The dispute is regarding the 30 day or 1000 mile mechanical warranty per contract. The transmission on our 2005 Ford Expedition broke at 27 days and 600 miles. The office manager Jesse Araujo and owner Rudolfo Chavez stated they would honor the warranty for 50% of a transmission on craigslist, with myself doing the labor. The cost would have been $700 for a used transmission without a warranty. The vehicle was previously purchased from an auction and L A Auto Emporium made a huge profit selling the vehicle to us.

The total cost of the transmission rebuild was $2,230.96,  not including two weeks of car rental. I received a check for the amount of $375.00, which was an outright insult ! We had to make up for the additional $740,  which

L A Auto Emporium should have paid !   The purchased date of the vehicle was January 12, 2013 and the transmission failure was February 8, 2013.

Rudolfo Chavez and Jesse Araujo did not make any further attempt to correct the issue.
