On May 30, 2008 I signed a one year contract with LA Weight Loss. This contract promised to give me two refunds; one at 6 months and one a one year, if I made progress, each refund was somewhere around $150.00. I also prepaid for boxes of their "famous" "Bars", which I compared to Luna Bars and found them really similar, which of course enraged the manager at LA Weight Loss. During the few months I was going to LA Weight Loss, it was difficult to get customer service, as the consultants were often helping their "online customers."

In late Sept I was diagnosed with cancer, for the 2nd time. I told the consultants over the phone that I would try to come in soon, as long as I could fit it in with my work/doctors. They expressed their sympathy and NEVER mentioned that I needed to come in because they were closing.

By October when I went into talk to them about possibly freezing my account, the store looked closed and when I approached the door a woman greeted me there saying she was there to close the store and she could only help me the following Tuesday, which I was scheduled to be out of town for work. When I tried to call and change the appt. the center was closed. The woman I spoke with that day was from either kansas or Oklahoma and simply said there were no more employees to work there or in Great Falls. She told me I could get a refund.

Since then I have found no way to contact anyone at LA Weight Loss, if I call the 1800# they tell me there are no locations in my reigon and if I call the Number listed on the door of the center I'm fowarded to a voice mail that is "full" and cannot except anymore messages.
Can anyone give me a number to call? Or can I assume all of my money is a lost cause!! Please help!
