when i just wanted to join lafitness after they bought out ballys i was sweet talked into training sessions when i could have survived on my own for training in a marathon or lift weights. the thing they do is have small written contracts with bad terms that never make it worth your while, the fee to start is a rip off 261 dollars was my fee on top of monthly payments they take out of your checking debit or credit, they always want your credit card and you cannot change the dates that the money is taken out each month. they all try to use smooth wording to get the sale into training sessions, i note that some of the trainers are lazy yeah like alberto diaz the head of the trainers in downingtown pa and other trainers said that too, but their good con artists in trying to get you into a new contract in a sly way and you are never told if you want to change anything in the sessions for example i started out doing 4 sessions a month but had more time later and had to pay a 50 dollar fee but here is the illegal part 50 is bad enough but a new contract starts but does not terminate the existing one so you now have more sessions that you never wanted and pay twice the amount of what you were paying meaning 112 a month times two these contracts for me for 28 dollars a session but if you have 48 sessions times it and the fees on top of it they have a date each month at the beginning and the end of the month, now if you terminate it early you lose alot of your money that is not refundable and are forced to do the sessions this is what alberto diaz did to me and no he did not tell me i was doing a new contract he like all of them and his gm and bryan who is promoted to a florida location knew they had a scam operation and this comes from the way lafitness in general operates so it cost over 3000 bucks for two contracts and i thought i had one, i was unable to get out of it without losing hundreds of dollars so i took the sessions then they may try to swindle you on the number of sessions you have they make it confusing such as two or three accounts and if you want a certified trainer you pay higher but then dont sign anything for a trainer you had who was not cert and becomes cert, if you want to continue then it sounds like a new contract.  if you cant train like me for health reasons all yo can do is use them later or if you freeze your training or any membership they hit you with a fifteen dollar fee, like phone companies and other outfits with hidden fees.
