Warning to all regarding Al Bowman,

If you get an offer from this guy saying he's going to put you on his ballot then give you the red carpet treatment and make you famous....RUN. Don't pay this guy a dime. He claims to be a promoter, talent judge and connection to the stars. Beware. I was a witness to this guys foul slander of another judge at a location in Palm Springs and Los Angeles. He stated over his microphone that the other (well respected judge of music) was a "b***h". Very unprofessional. The last event in Los Angeles left everyone who paid good money to get in, standing out on the street for hours. The venue was way too small and people were climbing over each other to find a lousy bar stool or chair. Most people paid $175 to get in the door and expected to be voted on for their talent. This never happened. The audio and video team hired for this event were humiliated (via microphone). There was some audio glitch during the event and Bowman telling them over his mic they would be "fired" if they didn't get the audio started. Again, very unprofessional and hard to watch. He said "Come on guys, quit playing with each others ball sacks and lets get going". He claims to be on the "same level as the Grammys" psssh...give us a break. Talent packages range from the hundreds to the thousands of dollars if you're foolish enough to give this clown your hard earned money. Might as well go to a homeless person on the street and make a donation to their cause. At least with all the money people give this guy you'd think he'd buy better suits. Watch out ladies, this pervert will eye you over and embarrass you publicaly. If you can't carry a tune in a bucket but want to ACT like you have a voice. No talent necessary. Give this guy your money and he'll make you feel like you have talent depending on how much money you pay him.

#2REBUTTAL Individual responds

This post has so many factual errors in it I am surprised that this lady has any sense of functionality in her own life. Let's take a moment to address her accusations, which by the way, she makes WITHOUT identifying herself. In fact, she does not even tell she is in fact a woman, and were it not for one of the many absurd accusations she makes, the gender of this writer might never be known.

First, she says I am "claiming" to be what I actaully am, and the fact that she was at one of my THREE 2014 press events in Hollywood proves that I am not falsely "claiming" anything. She then says that I slandered a a female judge and called her a b****. Yes, I used that term with the permission of said "b****" who happens to like having that reputation. The "b****" was actually at the event and later thanked me for metioning her in my monologue. This is after all Hollywood, and popularity means everything.

Then she says that people were left standing in the street for hours. If that were true, which it is NOT, that would make our event gigantic, seeing how the venue she is talking about is the Whisky A Go-Go, a place that holds over 500 people. Again her massively flattering exaggeration that "people were climbing over each other" just to find a seat is beyond amusing. Anyone who has been to the Whisky knows it is mostly a STANDING ROOM venue. However, I am flattered that she saw that the place was indeed packed just like always and that no, it was not "way too small".

She also says voting on the talent never took place. Actually, we printed 1,000 paper ballots of which over 800 were cast and we played 130 individual sound bytes from 74 nominees for the audience to hear and cast their paper ballot votes. I still can't figure out how she missed all that. The event lasted 5 hours.

I love this one: "Most people paid $175 just to get in the door." If that were true, that would mean that a small night club event at the Whisky A Go-Go grossed almost $100,000 just in ticket sales, making me the most successful Hollywood producer around, not some kind of scoundrel. No, what she is referring to is the 20 tickets artist nominees get for that price. Again, this lady is totally confused.

Yes, I berated the guys I hired to run sound and video. Guess what? They are MY STAFF, this is the entertainment business and yes, I can do these kinds of things. Most people thought it was very funny. Not this bitter broad though.

I think her best line is this one: "Watch out ladies, this pervert will eye you and embarrass you publically." Ok, besides the fact that this feminist n**i can't spell, she is calling me a pervert for looking at women when I talk to them. Yes, I actually have a habit of putting my eyes on everyone I talk to. Guilty as charged. When I am on stage at events like this one, I find it makes anyone easier to interview when I actually look at them when speaking on a microphone in front of 500 people. As opposed to what, looking at the ceiling or some audience member?

I am not sure whether to thank this lady for her high compliments of our audience size or recommend a visit to Dr. Phil. You know the old saying: There's no business like show business, it's like no business I know.

Sincerely,

Al Bowman
