Last year, I went to LA Weight Loss after seeing the commercials.

It sounded great when I met with the lady at the center. She was very nice, and seemed to explain a lot to me, success story wise...but the price, and how the program worked, she avoided and refused to answer those questions. She said I would have to set up a second appointment that would take about 30 minutes and that would all be explained.

Day of my appointment, I waited an HOUR for my SCHEDULED appointment. And after I'd already "signed up", without knowing the price, even though I asked. Found out it was around $800, just for them to weigh me, 3 x's a week.
I gave in and decided nothing else work, and go for it.
Needless to say, I struggled with the strictness, and inconvenience of having to weigh all my food. After a month, I realized that I'd lost no weight, the weigh in's took 45-60 minutes because of waiting (for what I don't know), but being a single mom, work full time, 1 hour commute each way, school twice a week, I couldn't sit there for over an hour waiting.

I requested a refund, took the scale and video back. I never received a refund of the amount I did pay. And the amount I put on credit with their office, they turned me into the credit bureau and a collection agency for nonpayment.

I signed the cancelation forms, turned in the supplies they gave me, everything, yet now I have a collection saying I owe them an additional $690!

Phone calls never helped, never got returned phone calls. I've since moved, but seeing this website, prompted me to warn others of my "UN"success story.
