LA Weight Loss misrepresented the price of their services which turned out to be over $1,500 Woburn Massachusetts
I went to LA Weight Loss because of the ad I saw on television. I was told that is BASED on $7 per week. Which has to be paid up front for a year membership, which is $364. Which you can make a few payments to cover the cost like 2 at $180. So I thought that wasnt too bad considering that I did not have all the money at once. The program was explained to me etc.
In the first week you must report there like 3 times. You are given a weeks supply of bars that go with the meal plan. I was told that the membership covers the bars. Anyway on my 3rd day of going there I was told that I need to buy another $1,300 worth of items, including the years supply of bars which are like $9.95 per week plus all the vitamans and supplements etc. That money was to be paid on the spot and all at once.
I told them to forget it. I left and immediatly put a stop payment on my initial check as well. I just want people to know that they are not exactly honest about how much the program is.
From the way it is explained you think that it is only $364. I dont think that many people, in this economy have that kind of money to spend on a weight loss program. Just beware that it is based on $7 per week, but then it is so much more.
