Complaint Review: Laance Air Eyewear

Beware of this company which is supposedly based in France and has a US entity set up in Delaware.  There is no physical address for them, no phone number, and only a web presence that is run out of Romania. 

They solicit funds through various "crowdsourcing entities" such as Kickstarter, Indiegogo, and others and promise to supply high-end luxury eyewear at very low prices.  However, after enticing donors with promised low price but high-end eyewear they will not promise a delivery that is promoted unless the "mark" pays large additional fees.  The total amounts then come out to be much higher than normal retail prices that can be found at regular retailers anywhere in the US. 

There is no way to contact them as they are basically an ethereal internet company and can only be contacted IF THEY WANT YOU TO CONTACT THEM. 

You have no choice in the matter and no recourse at all due to the Crowdsourcing protections and their own terms and conditions that can only be found if one digs very deeply into their website.  Even then, one has no recourse whatsoever as the officers of the company are totally unknown entities.

This is as close to a scam and a rip-off as I have ever seen.  Beware.
