Labcorp (Candi Rocha) I tried calling before my appointment to clear up a question I had about the tests I was ordered to have done. After 3 calls and no answer I left a voicemail following the prompt: They were completely unprofessional, rude, and held money against me for no reason Littleton Colorado
I tried calling before my appointment to clear up a question I had about the tests I was ordered to have done. After 3 calls and no answer I left a voicemail following the prompt: "please leave us a voicemail and we'll get back to you." Then I called the 1800 number, and asked "what is considered proof of a doctors order?" She replied, "just bring the email from your doctor" so that's what I brought. My email listed one more test, which they didn't have in their system. After I confronted Candi, at the desk about their lack of attentiveness to their phone lines, Candi replied "oh we don't answer the phone when we have 100 patients in here" I looked around and there were 2 people waiting. She proceeds to tell me "for future reference, that email was not sufficient because they needs the 'codes'. That's why I tried calling!
3pm, I haven't eaten all day, almost passed out after the nurse lost my vein and stabbed it back into my arm. I was in cold sweats, about to pass out, hyperventilating, and asked for a cup of water... Here's the kicker- they don't have cups. She gives me an empty pee cup filled with water and a wet paper towel. Are you kidding me? Karl told me that because they already ran my card and I wouldn’t have to pay for anything tomorrow, because I'd have to come back the next day to get a little more blood to fulfill the sample. I showed up again the next day (today) so they could get a little bit more blood for me to complete the sample. The supervisor “Candi” told me that I needed to pay $140 again at which point I told her that’s not what I was told yesterday… she claimed that the existing order that they ran the payment for yesterday was basically void because they weren’t able to fulfill it, so they needed to run my card again… I had $700 on my card and still a pending transaction for $140 being held against my checking account… But I handed her my card anyway and said "OK go ahead and run it…"
She claimed that she tried to run it three times and each time it didn’t go through- at which point I got Wells Fargo bank on the phone, and told her I was calling them. I walked out of the room and she shouted "you don't have to act like that, and we have the right to refuse service to you" and I said, "I'm not acting like anything ma'am". Wells Fargo confirmed that no activity was seen on the card. There were no new transactions or any attempts to speak of according to the bank... so I know she was either lying or didn't know how to do her job... I'm pretty sure after speaking with her that she denied service to me on purpose and never actually attempted to run the card. Candi then gave me a number for the billing department, I called the billing department and they said that they were unable to reverse the transaction from yesterday.
