On Dec 30 2008, I went to Lab Corp patient service center on Main st in Patchogue NY. I was given a prescription for about 20 different blood tests and 12 vials of blood were drawn. I found the office not very clean to begin with. I also found the staff unprofessional ie. speaking loudly and about personal business. The blood draw itself was fine. On Jan 27, 2009. The doctors office still had NOT recieved the results and contacted me to see if I had gone to the right lab. Unfortunately, my insurance company only accepts lab corp so I knew I had. My doctors office called the patient service center and they said they had no record of my signing in or being there. I called the 1-800 number and they said they had recieved my prescription and lab work and would send it to the proper place. Of all the labs ordered (21 to be exact) only ONE was done. So all of this will result in a delay in my treatment and now I have to go back to have this done all over again. I hope I have luck at a different patient service center. Shame on this place. I hope they don't bill my insurance company twice. The incompetence is unbelievable.
