Labor Ready tescor Labor Ready's tescor behavioral test is garbage !! Internet
I too failed labor ready's ridiculous test!! And I'm a very honest person! I went there to apply for a job opening I heard about and the company hired thru them... I was given the 73 question tescor test and entered my answers on their electronic key pad... I answered all the questions completely honestly !!
I was told I failed and cannot retest for a year and was bewildered and walked away frustrated and at a loss to understand untill I found there are dozens and possibly hundreds of complaints on the Internet about perfectly normal, good people failing their stupid test!!
I don't drink, do drugs, steal or fight but one of the ridiculous questions was "have you ever had to physically defend yourself?" Well being 46 years old, I have certainly had occasion to defend myself in my distant past but I can only assume that my answers were considered to be in some ridiculous type of contradiction because I also answered that "I never fight"... What a load of garbage this test is !!!

First off, you used the words "Labor Ready" and " good job" in the same sentence. Those words do not belong together. Labor Ready pays crap! Having many years experience in HR, staffing and recruiting, I applied at a LR and they offered me $9.00/hour for a staffing position. This isn't 1984. And the people I have known to go out on construction type jobs say they rarely make more than minimum wage.
I researched the Tescor test. It is designed to "reveal" people who are into drugs, are criminals and who have aggressive behavior. So it does sound like that by being honest and saying that you have "defended" yourself was intrepreted by them as you being hostile. That is so ridiculous! I don't know anyone who has not had to defend themselves at one time or another in their lives. People passing this test are just lying and saying what they need to, in order to pass. On the bright side, now you know how to answer this joke test in the future.
