Complaint Review: LAKE PARKER COURT

 5 years ago I resided at lake parker court. I witnessed no worse conditions than any other mobile home/ r.v park and I've also managed a few myself. Your going to get bad neighbors anywhere you live. Lake parker court offered me a "home" to start over in. We were moving back to Lakeland with no home waiting for us. Our vehicle was broke down and it offered a centrally located on a bus route to be able to be independent to start over. We started in a very small camper(campers have more than one bed) each time a bigger place opened we were able to transfer. I have one child and my fiance. And my child never had to resort to sleeping in a bed with us. As a parent, she would have gotten the bed first if there was only one. Common sense and good parenting. No matter where I've lived, my child has always been monitored. And Carolyn and Jessie wouldn't have allowed anything else. Yes, due to the homes being so close together, you have noise. Keep your business in your own home and your nose out of other people's. Due to the low rates, fully furnished, we were able to save up and begin again. It was better than living in a hotel/motel. It offered a full kitchen, living area, bathroom,laundry on site and a bed to sleep in. Unfortunately people have hardships, I wish their were more places like this to help get people off the streets and parents from losing their children. No matter who you are, disaster can befall anyone. When times were hard, they worked with us. Jessie was always out everyday working on units. Also, the rules were No one was allowed in after a specific hour unless they registered at the office. There's only so much you can do to enforce rules due to tenant laws. There is only so much screening of tenant s you can do by law. Look up any search sites. They will tell you the information you receive cannot be used in deciding to rent a home to someone. I'm sorry your experience wasn't up to what you expected for the price you paid. You get what you pay for, you know.... I lived there almost a year and had no issues except once. My daughter's bike was stolen. But that has happened everywhere I've lived due to her not locking it up. And I have had it happen in the best neighborhoods. As a landlord, I've found the people who have issues are the same ones who go door to door befriending everyone they can. Next time you need a place to move in where you only have to pay 199.00 to move in and it includes everything, I suggest you stay in a hotel or shelter. Maybe you'll have better luck! :-) You know, it wasn't that long ago( and in some places still today) family's lived in one and two room cottages. With their children. That does not mean the children are not being taken care of and their needs are not met. Don't bash the poor without more than assumptions. Some people get needs and wants confused, I pray they don't have to learn the hard way. I get the feeling you feel your owed more than you really are.

i see the same people well i guess they are people are still runing the place,it is still a dump and anyone can live there even if you have kids and sleep together in the same bed,this place should be shut down and i mean now,all this is there is drug,drunks,pigs and who knows what,i hope the law goes there and shuts this place down i will email them and anyone else i can to have something done about this place,this is a dump and i mean it,shut it down now,

What the hell is a "vereran?"  I think you are one dumb rump-ranger.  So will anyone else who reads your rants.  Lesson for you:  Don't drink and type at the same time.  Love the use of multiple exclamation points, though!!!!!!!!  (You sure know how to get your point across -- nothing like eight exclamation points to underscore that you mean business.)

you are wrong me and my wife lived there for 8 months untill we got flooded in the cabin then we left the mgr would not help so you are the big a--,i have turned you in to child services about all the kids living in a one bedroon trailer other places also,i am a vereran and did not dersive the crap we got there,i paid my rent on time not like the other crap you have living there,you will get what you dersirve soon i am sure when they check you out,your mgr is a joke they said they were leaving what happened,they could not fix anything,i will see you when i come back over that way,you are a big a-- !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I remember the guy who wrote this report.  He would wear women's underwear and would prance through the park coming on to men.  It only stopped when he propositioned a ex-middleweight boxer who punched him through the wall of his mobile home ... hence the "pig hole" and flooding, both in his home and in his Ann Taylor panties.

i do not know who you are or i do not care you are full of crap,this place is a dump and they have kids living an a one bedroom trailer what is this,drugs,drunks,perverst a nice place to bring a kid up i do not think so,this place should be shut down,i seen alot of crap going on there,kids should not be living in a one bedroon trailer where are they sleeping in the same bed what crap,you should get your head out of your a-- and rearly check it out,the ones who manage this place does a crap job do not know what the h-- they are doing,they let anyone in with money,so you are the big jerk look around buddy !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This gentleman's spelling and grammar speak louder than his complaint.

Lake Parker Court is clean and well maintained; many residents have lived there for many years.

I personally inspect the park (and the inside of all vacant homes) once per month.

I invite all interested parties to visit the park and judge for themselves; the park is located at 1140 East Lemon Street in Lakeland, Florida.

The resident managers, Carolyn and Jesse, have managed the park well for over ten years.  They do require residents to pay on time, however -- which in the eyes of some make them "jerks."

LAKE PARKER COURT TRAILER PARK 1140 E LEMON ST IS A DUMP HAVE ONLY ONE BEDROOM TRAILERS OR CABINS BUT LET FAMILYS LIVE THERE WITH 1,2,3 KIDS WHERE DO THEY SLEEP WHO KNOWS,THIS SHOULD NOT BE GOING ON THE STATE NEEDS TO STEP IN AND CHECK THIS OUT,THE LANDLORDS HAVE A GIRL AND HER SON LIVING WITH THEM THIS DOES NOT SOUND RIGHT WHAT IS GOING ON THERE I WONDER,THE WHOLE PLACE IS MESSED UP WITH ALL KINDS OF BUMBS,DRUGS,DRUNKS,IN AND OUT ALL HOURS OF THE NIGHT,I AM SURE THE LANDLORDS ARE NOT TELLING THE OWNERS WHEN THEY KEEP MONEY HAHA ON THEM,THIS IS REARLY A SCUM AREA NOT FOR KIDS OR STRAIGHT PEOPLE,SHUT THIS PLACE DOWN I AM SENDING THIS TO THE OWNERS THEY SHOULD KNOW WHAT IS GOING ON THERE,I FEEL SORRY FOR THE KIDS WHO HALF TO PUT UP WITH THIS CRAP,PLEASE SOMEONE HELP DO SOMETHING FOR THE KIDS, THANK YOU
